A busy tourist beachside town with plenty of choice for restaurants bars etc as well as the usual holidays shops. The main shopping area is pedestrianised so thats great but for me too crowded and busy, a sort of Spanish Benalmadena without the nonsense, clean, no drinks and no nonsense

Calella beach was very clean and stretches for a few miles...
Calella beach was very clean and stretches for a few miles before it joins the next resort and didn’t get overcrowded. Nice restaurants and bars and the town is much quieter than Lloret which was a pleasant surprise. Would recommend a visit and would definitely go back. It is easy to walk around the narrow streets and along the promenade to the next resorts along the coast. We didn’t hire the free bikes as we preferred to walk but the offer of free bike hire is definitely a bonus offered by the hotel.

Calella is a lovely traditional Spanish town. More local than tourist. With less choice of food and drink that a lot of other Spanish towns . Great shopping areas and friendly local people . Local beaches but no promenades.

Calella is 1.5h from Barcelona city. If you're prepared to travel that far outside the city, then stay here. There are not a lot of activities to do in the area, this place is best for lounging about on the beach or by the pool.

Close to main Calella street with all shops and activities, but quiet place at the same time. 3. 3 minutes to the beach. And note that beach at this part is ten times less crowdy than at western part of Calella, where the most of hotels placed. At the same time all beach infrastructure is also present. Just nobody jumps over your head. 4. Good air conditioning at the property. 5. Very friendly host.

Excellent location for the Barcelona Ironman, the hotel even catered for it with lots of pasta and an early breakfast on race day. Food was adequate, but I'm not fussy! Bath and shower were good and clean. Having broken my arm most staff were helpful. Enough space in room and balcony to assemble bike. Location is awesome for train station, local shops and restaurants, Ironman race

The rooms are simple, but met our expectations as we enjoyed activities outdoors un used hotel room only for a sleepover. The value for the price in my opinion is exceptional as there were breakfast and dinner included into our room rate. The staff was very friendly especially security guy Jonas that worked during the nights and greeted me with a coffee every morning before I took off for my bicycle ride.
