I was visiting Guadix and Bazaar, so this was perfect for both. Accommodation fine, bar and restaurant fine. Enjoyed the terrace in the evening, the only thing was the pool was to cold to swim. They use spring water, if they used tap water it would have been perfect. Otherwise I would go there again.

Nice place to visit, plenty cheap places and expensive places to eat which ever you fancy, plenty parking and mostly free. Enjoyed the lakes took a picnic and blanket.
Shame the picnic area is going down hill as the water tap there is now not available so could not wash hands or anything, lovely drive down though, and at this time of year I would have thought the area would have had a shop or cafe open but all closed. Eat at meson abuelo good food for cheap price and free tapa with drinks. Easy to walk around town if able body.

We loved the coolness of the cave house especially as it was very hot in July. Baza is a lovely town but a car is necessary as the position of the cave is very rural. There is a cave hotel just down the road from the property which serves meals all day, also very lovely.
Great location for us. Parking next to hotel is paid parking (blue zone) but plenty free on street parking closeby, towards the library. The menu in the dining room for 10 euro per person was great value. The rooms on the 3rd floor have been refurbished and are great, we had a tiny balcony, but at end of November obviously too cool to sit out once the sun had moved around. Lovely welcome from the young girl when we checked in, and the owner (I think he was the owner) was very helpful.
The only place in Andalucia we visited where people did not try responding in English after hearing my Spanish :)
The room has everything you may need, even fridge with complimentary 1,5 l bottle of water. Rooms are cleaned daily, even if you are there for more than 1 night. The hotel has microwave for common use. Beds are perfect.
Clara greets guests well while her hostess is very well informed about most things in Baza.
We had a great stay. staff was really friendly and helpful. Never stayed in a cave before. Pool was closed due to end of season. Restaurant was open on our arrival. We had a meal there and it was amazing and large portions. Unfortunately it was then closed so didn't had a chance to try breakfast. Baza was a great little town with lots to see and do. Great atmosphere and very friendly locals.
Not a lot - we arrived and had to ask the neighbour about the situation as the cave looked closed down, he called the owner and was told the key was in the door and that the hotel across the road which had the restaurant and other facilities for us to use was closed for 2 week’s due to annual leave.
I choose the location between the wonderful towns of Baza and Guadix, easy to get to both. The hotel was a little eccentric, even better, the staff are bright, helpful and we enjoyed our stay. My girlfriend said she would like to g oback with some of our friends, that tells you all/
No air con needed, everyday was around 32/33 and the cave was a constant nice cool 15-18. It was perfect!
The cave is finished to a very high standard, 10 out if 10!
its a home from home, baza is a 5 minute drive, which has anything and everything u might need.
We have stayed in the Dama De Baza a couple of times now and it gets better each stay.
They have been slowly renovating the hotel and they have a new chef both are assets to the hotel.
The rooms comfortably fit 4 people and staff are really friendly.
Plenty of space and reasonably priced. We booked for a family of 4. Had an apartment. 3 bed rooms sleeping 6 people, double and 4 singles. Plenty of space with kitchenette. Able to cook own food or eat at hotel restaurant.
The apartment has an almost ideal location if you want to be close to most of the „highlights“ of Baza and is generally pretty spacious. The hosts replied very quickly and at least tried to help with most issues we had.
The hotel was easy to find and very busy when I arrived. Check-in/out was very easy. Some of the waiting staff seemed to be a bit aloof, but the reception and cleaners were very friendly and nice.
Breakfast was excellent.
Clive and Allan recommended what to visit in Baza , where to eat and areas to visit together with directions.
We had use of the outside kitchen with BBQ if required.
