Amazing an cozy, perfet to relax and get some sport done. Maybe even to remote work, for a few days, surrounded by nature and less warm weather than in the interior or coast of Catalunya. Perfect for kids and grown-ups :)

Small, in winter not touristic at all. Locals often don't speak English even a little bit. The volcanos are nice and really. the "home volcanos" are small and easily avaliable. The bus station has a cafe, WiFi and toilet, so you can practically live there.ValentinaRussia - 8.0Scored 8.0

Olot is a good starting point to walk the Via Verde (Ruta carrilet 1) to Girona. The town is quite small but has many small squares with a variety of bars, restaurants and cafes. As the centre of the Garrotxa region the volcanoes are of interest and very close to town - walking distance.

The rambles at night was very buzzy and good fun. The museum of Saints was fantastic. We watched an extremely good 8 minute video first and then spent ages looking round...well worth a visit. The Garrotxa museum had interesting art works. We especially liked the posters advertising cigarettes. Not park was cool too.

There are two AC units which meant even the hottest days could be managed with a cool siesta. The apartment is located in a quiet but not secluded area of Olot, which allows for quick access to the old city centre on foot. Because the apartment is on one of the volcanic hills, you are treated throughout the day with a beautiful landscape right outside your windows. On our day of departure we had a lovely chance run in with the owners who are very kind and warm people.

The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. I liked having the ability to have 3 people in a room with the 2nd bed. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also excellent - I really appreciated the option of gluten free bread (delicious) and oat milk.

A nice change after travelling through France where the prices are 30-50% higher for everything and the habitation which we stayed in France was terrible compared to returning to Spain.
