The living area of the house was really well appointed, with lots of space to relax. There were even books to read, and a couple of lovely big tables - we often play board games when away on holiday as a family and this was really helpful. There was also a really spacious outdoor area. The host was lovely and there was free parking on the street outside.

Camino del Castillo is set in Jimena de la Frontera’s old town and on the outskirts of Los Alcornocales Park. This charming house opens onto a lovely terrace with mountain views. Camino del Castillo features traditional Andalusian design, beamed ceilings and clay-tiled floors. Located on the upper floor, the lounge has a sofa and a flat-screen TV, while kitchen facilities include a microwave, oven, coffee maker, fridge and an electric hob. Free Wi-Fi is included. The house is bright and its windows look onto the Sierra de Crestellina Mountains. The pretty terrace is surrounded by fruit trees. A footpath leads from the house to Jimena’s Moorish and Roman castle and ruins. Algeciras and the coast are within 45 minutes’ drive.
