The Hotel Cienbalcones is a magnificent hotel set in a beautiful town of Daroca and for me an ideal stop on the way to Santander from The Costa Blanca. Cobbled streets , lots of small cafeterias to choose from . Very friendly people . Obliging with directions. And lots of historic buildings with typical Spanish architecture. Enchanting.

It's Walls and up to the Moorish fort are so scenic and offer a lot of walking, it really is a bit lost in time. Recommend for a nights stop.
If we had not stayed here we would have missed a treat - town and hotel

Very old town with cobbled streets and what seemed like churches everywhere, high arches at each end of main street allowing vehicle access to tiny shops and some side roads so narrow, only pedestrians can use.
Lovely town to visit but also very small
I did not complete all the questions regarding the hotel. The message did not respond in total, with regards to my thoughts and comments on this hotel and village, yes in my opinion the village is one of the amazing best and only topped by the pleasure of staying 3 times in the last year at this property, the most amazing staff, hotel and a superb village, could not top it and my serious thoughts given to the Ukrainian young lady Yana and her family supported with work at the Cienbalcony hotel
The room was spacious & modern. Unfortunately, the room was rather warm but as it was April we were told the air con wouldn’t start till May!! The evening meal was served by helpful, cheery staff & was delicious.
My only complaint would be that the water wasn’t terribly hot for a bath …….. but the hotel situation was perfect, the staff ver helpful & friendly would definitely stay here again!
Hotel was as expected overall. Rooms are comfortable, large and plenty of storage. Perhaps the shower arrangement is a bit dated (over the bath with a curtain. ) The location is good in the town centre ( although the car parking was difficult to find at first) .
Restaurant was excellent as were the staff.
Tremendous value.
A lovely village with cobbled streets half way on our journey to Bilboa to get the ferry to Ireland.Lovely room on 3rd floor overlooking the courtyard. Good breakfast ,lovely setting. Very friendly helpful staff ,very clean and comfortable stay .I would recommend this hotel.
Lovely Hotel, the building is gorgeous and the interior is very modern. The rooms are spacious and the en suites are extremely well appointed. We have stayed here several times and recommended it to lots of our friends, I cannot recommend this hotel enough.
Restaurant was very good; menu del dia available in the evening and cost less than quoted on the website. Friendly atmosphere. Dramatic entrance from main Street of Daroca. Safe street parking opposite or free garage parking a little distance away.
The staff were very helpful and friendly....We thoroughly enjoyed the meal in the hotel restaurant which had an adequate menu. The rooms were spacious and comfortable as were the beds....
Our room was in a beautiful new annex across the road from the original hotel. Really generous tasty breakfast was served in the old part. Bikes stored safely. One of our best stays.
