Beautiful little village with plenty of interesting, small museums. Views ftom the castle absolutely breathtaking. El Riu restaurant next to vintage motor museum excellent for lunch. Dinner at Cases Noves hotel (believe only available for guests) fantastic.

Both my son and his girlfriend said it was amazing the hotel was perfect the hospitality outstanding and the facilities were brilliant. They couldn’t fault the food for breakfast and dinner and the vegan/ vegetarian choice was excellent. All served in a beautiful setting. They absolutely loved their room and the views. They had a perfect break and a beautiful engagement weekend.

I'd really recommend staying in Guadalest because you get to see the castle and lake without all the crowds. The town is obviously quiet at night so having a lovely apartment was amazing. The TV was huge with everything you needed, even a jacuzzi bath. Loved it.

Contactless check-in and communication is done via WhatsApp. There's hardly any restaurants open in the evening (maybe it's still off season) and if reservation is not made, the kitchen will come in handy or a drive to Benidorm is needed.
