The town itself is ugly and busy. The beaches are nice.
The town itself is ugly and busy. The beaches are nice. However, the surrounding countryside is very good for cycling and/or walking. There are dedicated cycle paths along the main roads to other towns nearby and also lots of quiet country lanes with not much traffic.

Torrevieja is not for everyone as it’s a typical working Spanish town albeit with a lovely promenade and beach. However there are lots of shops, bars and restaurants. I especially recommend the ‘chino’ shops where you can buy everything you didn’t know you needed!

Hotel was in a perfect location couldn't be better. Property on the whole is in need of tlc
But our room was very clean. Reception very good and the local supermarket very equipt.
Soap very limited to 2 little sachets. Take your own. Kitchen clean loved making a cuppa in the morning and sitting on the balcony overlooking the marina. . All in all a perfect stay in a clean appartment. If they renovated the area it would be perfect 🥰 we had some lovely beach walks and amazing meals along the way.

First time here and thoroughly enjoyed the area and the holiday. Nice choice of beaches, shopping and restaurants/cafes.
Unless close to a bus route, you would need a car to visit all the spots as it is quite spread out.
If in the marina area I can recommend an excellent gluten free bakery and café - Coffee and Toffee in Calle Joaquín Chapaprieta. Delicious pastries in a lovely relaxing environment.
If on Playa de los Locos, have a meal at El Tiburón, excellent food at reasonable prices.
If you do have a car then Murcia is well worth a visit, plenty to see and do

Not the cleanest of towns as there are lots of dog feces on the pavements so it is necessary to constantly watch the ground in case you step in a nasty surprise. The locals don't seem to bother about picking up after their animals.

The apartment is totally brand new, it was clean, cozy, and equipped with all necessary kitchen facilities, TV, and fast wifi. Very quiet location with developed infrastructure around - Mercadona, pharmacy, cafes. Free parking near the building and the bus stop. Just 7min walking to the La Mata beach - the largest and the best beach in Torrevieja. The host was pleasant and very helpful. Strongly recommend this apartment cause it exceeded my expectations.
On the same complex where my family live so we know the area well and the location is perfect for us. Local buses into Torrevieja just €1.55 outside the DNA Monse hotel. Jessie's bar is lovely and welcoming with cheap food and the pool bar us handy for a swim in the complex pool for drinks or food too. Lovely apartment, love it and Rosi is lovejy. Have now stayed a few times and will stay in it again. Free WiFi too.
the Room was smaller than 135cm ore mac that and there was somemistake made in the factory i am joking but not for people in the 100kg range and the madress was good but horribly short

I've stayed here multiple times now. The very best place I've found in Torrevieja and I have been there many, many times. Extremely nice host, easy check-in, THE ultimate view and balcony in the area with access from both the living space and main bedroom. Great living space, too, with huge TV and super fast wifi. Ticks every box. Will definitely be back. Many thanks for another wonderful week in Torrevieja!
The Aparthotel Costa Blanca was very close to the bus station and the Mercadona. There was a 10 to 15 walk to the promenade and beach area. There is a lovely panaderia, a minute's walk from the reception area. The apartment (incl. the bathroom / shower area) was spacious, bright and clean. The staff at the Aparthotel were very friendly, in particular I would commend Julia, the manager.
It was the 2nd time in a month I stayed here for a running event in Torrevieja and you will not get better value for money anywhere. Although it is basic, the hotel gets all the essentials spot on, warm room with heating in very cold weather, great hot shower, comfortable bed, what more could you want and it is spotlessly clean throughout, well done Hotel Cano
The hotel was in the perfect location for us just on the edge of torrevieja a 10 minute walk to the sea front. Despite the language barrier the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was basic but very clean with good air conditioning and fresh bedding and towels each day.
Large rooms all with sea view , just a very short walk to the beach and a bus stop just outside the hotel for the short trip into Torrevieja. Facilities in the hotel are good ( including the buffet meals ) so you could spend your time just in the hotel if you wish .
The apartment was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The location was good with amenities in walking distance. It is a very nice place to stay and enjoy either a restful or active holiday in this part of Spain.
For the first the hosts were absolutely lovely, I arrived very late because of late flight but the hosts met me the gate upon arrival with a smile and were very helpful. Facilities clean, area quiet and nice.
The apartment is spacious and clean, located in the central part of Torrevieja, close to several parks. It was easy to communicate with Olga, check-in and check-out were easy.
