We had a really pleasant stay in Casa Felipa, it has all that you need to stay for a week. The hosts were very attentive to help with any questions we had. The location is wonderful, very close to public transportation. We recommend 100%.

Company info

We are Ana and Rafa and we manage eight apartments in a space that we’ve decided to call Casa Felipa, where we also happen to live. This not only makes it easier for us to communicate with you, it also really inspires us to make you feel at home. We are happy to recommend our favorite places and restaurants, and are always available to help you with any questions or doubts you may have regarding your trip. We love nature and culture and this makes us think that Barcelona is a wonderful place, as it combines both of these things seamlessly; Montjuic is a clear example, you can take a long hike through nature and also visit museums, you can happen onto one of the many city-wide street fairs, or onto one of the many concerts that are also constantly popping up throughout town. We really like to cook and are very lucky that the Hostafrancs market is only two blocks away. We’ll show you how to get there, in case you want to buy food like the locals. When we can, we like to spend afternoons drinking the traditional vermouth over at Plaza d’Osca. It’s an ideal place to get to know a neighborhood like Sants.

Property info

Casa Felipa offers luminous, practical apartments equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay in Barcelona. They are meant to house four people, with two private bedrooms and a pullout couch in every living room. There’s an AC unit in all of them, as well as heating, and some of them also have a balcony or a private terrace. Barcelona is one of the world’s best food destinations, but we know that it can be exhausting to eat every meal out. This is why we have fully stocked each kitchen with everything that you may need to cook your meals at home. Each apartment has a refrigerator, a microwave, and a dishwashing machine. We know that you may not need it, but there’s also a flat-screen TV connected to cable via satellite. In the bathroom you will find a hairdryer and everything you need to iron your clothes. We are right near the beautiful Montjuic mountain, the Fira de Barcelona, and Plaza España, which also happens to be one of the city’s main metro stations. If you’re flying here, the Aerobus gets you to our apartments in 30 minutes. If you’re coming by train, we are located a five minutes walk from the Sants train station.

Neighborhood info

Hostafrancs is one of the neighborhoods that make up the Sants-Montjuic district and Creu Coberta Street is it’s main road, as well as one of the most commercially active streets in all of Barcelona. As we mentioned, we are five minutes away from the Sants train station, which is the city’s main train station. We are also two blocks away from the Plaza España metro (L1 and L3) and the Plaza España Aerobus stop, as well as many other bus stops. If you like to walk or ride bikes, you can be in the city center in 20 minutes. Even though we are close to the city center, Hostafrancs is a quiet neighborhood at night, so you can count on a good night’s sleep and on discovering less touristy places like Poble Sec, Sants, and Sant Antoni.
