The location is great, right across from the Romana beach. We enjoyed having a ground floor unit right next to the pool. AC worked well. Beautiful large patio and the outdoor facilities are very nice.

The town itself is a pretty little seaside place with cafes and restaurants and a mixture of local shops and the usual touristy ones.
The beach is lovely, flat, soft sand, lots of space and lovely for both walks along the shoreline and swimming. At the time of year I visited it was quiet and seemed a lovely place for families. There are play parks for little kids too.
It's also a good base for walks into the nearby mountains, but I'm not fit enough for that so I don't know what they're like.

This was our first visit to Alcossebre.
This was our first visit to Alcossebre. We had been recommended by several people who like us, do not like loud , brash resorts with wall to wall TV bars and British menus. This is definitely a Spanish family friendly resort, It is small enough that you can walk around yet has enough restaurants, tapas bars and small shops to keep you occupied. We ate at several, El Palmeral, Alein and my favourite, Batiste which was also open for breakfast.
We went to the tomato festival at Alcala de Xivert, visited Torrenostra which has a huge beach (an nobody spoke English in the restaurants) and Peniscola (again a huge beach) but most importantly the castle of the Knights Templars. You can use the bus but a car would be a real advantage.

We've been going to Alcossebre for 7 years, with a short gap because of the pandemoc. We were introduced by some neighbours of ours who have an apartment there. We always go when the fiesta is on, the atmosphere is vibrant then, very Spanish. We'll most probably be there again next year!

Small seaside town north of Valencia, quiet and family...
Small seaside town north of Valencia, quiet and family oriented, can be very busy in summer or long weekends with long lines of people waiting for restaurants and packed beaches. The centre has not much to offer, the seaside however is pretty.

Lovely pretty town. Excellent restaurants and area.
Lovely pretty town. Excellent restaurants and area. Agora great fish & chips, Sebastian la perla in Peniscola a la carte. I'lla in the marina. Will definitely visit again. Easy but a negotiable one way system. Avoid the Villa that we stayed in. Lovely walks and everything within walking distance

Very friendly and helpful people.
Very friendly and helpful people. The Booking.com map address was wrong, but a local man went out of his way to take us to the hotel. Great atmosphere at the beaches and the local shops and restaurants. Locals fishing at night. An all-round great location.
The location was good, easy to find as I was driving and far enough away from town to be quiet. Walking distance to the town was approx 20 minutes and is an easy walk. The town is very cute with a huge choice of restaurants and the beach was very popular with families.
The restaurant at the hotel was serving good food and the staff were very amenable and welcoming. Parking on site is essential as I am on a motorcycle and there was plenty of space to park.
I had a wonderful stay at this elegant apart hotel which has lovely decor, is very near a great beach, has a great swimming pool and a top of the building infinity pool. Wonderful views!! Easy walk in to town. The reception staff were wonderfully warm, friendly, professional and helpful. This is a great place to stay if you like to have your own cooking/washing machine facilities/lounge and TV as well as having the support of reception staff.
very good location, equipped with everything you need from the kitchen to the bathroom.very quiet area even if you have on the street a restaurant.almost on the beach you just have to walk 2 minutes.to move around in Alcossebre you need a car.5 and 7 min maximum walk to the nearest supermarket.2 min walk to any restaurants.
clossest airport is castellon but there is no transport between them only taxi or rental
I love the location of this hotel and the room I booked had a fabulous sea view. I am English but like that this is a mainly Spanish hotel as it gives me the opportunity to practicar mi Espanol!
Mini bar was topped up with water and fantas at no charge which I think is a great touch.
Also I had a bottle of Cava waiting on ice which was a great start to my holiday :-)
The Hotel Sancho III was quite quiet compared to the hotels closer to the center.
3/4 minute walk to the beach. 10 minute walk to the center.
Beautiful swimming pool. Plenty of parking in the free parking.
Good breakfast with lots of options. Helpful staff.
Lot's of gel's etc for Covid placed in different points and all staff were wearing a mask.
Everything was cleaned thoroughly and very quickly whenever we asked to have the room cleaned. The staff were really friendly and I couldn’t fault them at all. The location of the hotel was amazing and we loved our stay. Unfortunately the prices are a little high in peak season but at this time of year it was affordable.
Been to Alcossebre for the last 15years, never stayed at a hotel so was a bit apprehensive. Hotel was really good, staff were always helpful at any time. Breakfast was good. They got a taxi for us, let us stay over while wating for transfer, and best thing was a aircon system for my wife.
Perfect location close to Playa Romana. Lovely swimming pool for residents. This time (and it's already our third visit to Alcossebre) we had an upper floor apartment with huge terrace, so there were amazing view of stars at night and sunrise in mornings.
Alcossebre is a nice place to relax. Long beaches to walk along. Temperatures in Malaga are of course higher.
Location of apartment is very good. Likewise standard is fine. Walking distance to Consum store and to beach.
Great location, just by the beautiful beach, close to restaurants, with pool. Apartments are great and to the while complex just looks so pretty, no high rise buildings and a laid back vibe
Amazing apartments with everything u could ever need - like home from home
Excellent location, fabulous facilities and staff so friendly and welcoming 😊
