Estepona is a lovely town.
Estepona is a lovely town. The people are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is wonderful and the old town full of pretty streets and flowers everywhere. Loved it!
We loved Cafe Etcetera but everywhere offered exceptional food at reasonable prices.

The traffic free areas were a joy for eating around the squares. The flowers and plants that inspired us to visit Estepona have to be seen. We had seen Monty Don's gardens in Spain when he visited Estepona and decided we wanted to visit. I would visit again.

Very nice rebuilt town with a lot of things to see, to do.
We enjoyed very much the long beach promenade with a lot of restaurants, coffee, shops and children playgrounds.
The parking under the promenade offers a lot of places.
The old town with the small and nice restaurants, shops are really pretty. We are sure we will come again.

Very pretty town and port, some nice beach front walks.
Very pretty town and port, some nice beach front walks. Good places to eat. Limited bus service, better if you have someone with you who can drive a car, as most places to visit take up to 2.5 hours each way by bus. No availability of coach or boat tours when we were there (28/2-6/3). Two days would have been enough in Estepona, unless you have a car and can use as a base. Nice quiet area when we were there.

A medium size Andalucian town, with its own Spanish character as well as catering for tourists. Beautiful beach, esplanade and children's playground. Good restaurants. Nice harbour. Vibrant Sunday market.
On arrival Linda on reception upgraded us to a lovely seaview suite as we were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and had prosecco delivered to our room on the day. Thank you.
Breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold options. Loved the costal path right outside at the back of the hotel, great for running and walking, plenty of free parking available. Hotel is well kept and clean. Estepona old town is wonderful, full of charm, great restaurants, bars, café's and shopping.
We had a great stay and look forward to going back.
Great location in a lovely part of Estepona old town. The Hostel is newly decorated and has a lovely atmosphere and makes every one welcome, as mature travellers sometimes hostels can be a bit daunting, but not The Varanera Hostel.
The staff were incredibly nice and went out of their way to help. I had a private double room and it was spotless with luxurious bedding and towels and a fantastic shower. I could not fault it on anything.
There were some great recommendations for food establishments advertised,
I have liked it all! The apartment was fantastic and location, best possible. Very well equipped and quiet. Close to the promenade and the beach. Also the old town a couple of minutes away. I recommend staying in the Apartamentos Miguel Angel in any time of the year. November nights were warm enough and we had additional heating available, not used though. The host was very communicative, and we could see that he was proud of Estepona and his region.
Very nice apartment with excellent kitchen for a four week stay. The patio is lovely with lot of sun even in december and great access to the pool which we used even if it is not heated. Alcazaba Beach is hard to beat if going to Estepona, wonderful property. The nicest host you could think of and we would love to come back!
Comfort was great. Huge apartment. Nice facilities. Great pool. Nice shop with nice breakfast and nice pool bar.
About 1 km walk to old town and beach which we didn’t mind but in case you do we saw a lot of people using taxis. Estepona was great location for day trips to Ronda, Setenil de las Bodegas, Morocco, Gibraltar
Excellent location, extremely close to the Marina and an enjoyable 15 min walk along the promenade to the old town. No need for transport if you are happy to walk. Amenities and restaurants plentiful for all tastes. The property benefits from the morning sunshine and view of the sea from the balcony.
Rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great. Hotel was newly opened, not all facilities were operational. Staff were amazingly friendly, polite and helpful. If there is anything I like the most about the facility; it is the staff! from desk and customer relations team.
A great boutique hotel right in the centre of the old town. We stay in the suite, the room and bathroom were nice and spacious. The continental breakfast was good and served on a lovely roof terrace. The staff were excellent and very helpful. I would defintelty stay here again.
Anthony and Amanda simply put love into their tiny hotel! Amazingly helpful, joyful and lovingful.
Super location in the heart of the old town. Don’t expect a luxury place, but a place that makes everything to make you feel great. Thank you guys ♥️
Location in Estepona is perfect - sea views and very quiet (except Sunday market) and walking distance to marina, town centre, and restaurants. Accommodation very clean and comfortable - excellent bed and air conditioning. Host brilliant.
Room was excellent. Very spacious and superb seaview.
Food was great. So much choice.
Hotel entertainers were brilliant. So friendly and fun. Could not fault them.
Reception staff so helpful too.
Pool area lovely too.
One of the best location in Estepona for a Hotel, on front of the beach. The bed was good! They don't have a parking, but about 500 meters is a free parking and under the street is a parking with 1 euro/hour (EasyParking).
What a great find, a rare gem in Estepona. far away enough to be quiet from the hustle and bustle but close enough you can easily get places quickly. Marcelle and Lars and team were amazing! We will be back.
Staff were remarkable. Maria a delight and Angel went way above and beyond extraordinary service mapping out our car trip to Malaga with restaurant suggestions along the way! Wonderful:)
Friendly Staff . Very clean rooms
Rooms very basic but for one night it is alright
Very close proximity to the Beach and beautiful Old Town.
Parking across from the Hotel
Lovely small boutique hotel in a fabulous location in the old town, within walking distance to everything! Spacious rooms and very comfortable. Would highly recommend.
