Beautiful. Great town to visit even for a few days. Beautiful beaches, plenty of eateries. La Amistad, was great to try Fabada and to watch waiters/waitresses pouring cider. Nice friendly people in the town. Quirky little shops. Nice walks along the coast and harbour.

Charming old working port and marina for private fishing boats and pleasure craft. Old quarter is full of handsome buildings, churches and so on, full of character. Lots of visitors but not oppressively touristy. Centre of town has loads of restaurants, with local specialities but also varied.

We really loved the view from the room, which was clean and big enough for a couple days stay. When you take in the price and location it is very good value. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, and there is secure parking for motorcycles. Breakfast was tasty and good value at €5.80. I love Spain intensely, but things have changed dramatically in just the last few years. The staff was great. They went out of their way to make things comfortable and inviting.
