The Plaza de la Constitución was quite busy on Sunday...
The Plaza de la Constitución was quite busy on Sunday lunchtime, due to the crowds flocking north from Madrid to enjoy the cool air. Monday was very quite & laid back, as quite a few of the businesses were closed, however we were still able to find a café/bar to have breakfrast & another for a lunchtime beer after a short hike.

Buitrago de Lozoya is just beautiful. Hotel was great. Room very nice, good view and could just see the lake. Plenty of free parking outside. Bed very comfortable. Wifi works well. Bathroom good, big windows in bedroom and bathroom. Everywhere very clean. Plenty of towels.

The hotel was lovely and the bedroom was clean and rustic. Walked into town for a few tapas and drinks. Breakfast was quite basic the next day but just what we wanted.
