Great location right on the edge of the pedestrian zone, yet one can drive to the hotel, park in front, unload, and then park around the corner in their parking garage (15 euros per night). Friendly staff, helpful, efficient. Breakfast buffet is 10 euros and nice to have in the morning when you don't want to rush out. Ample food and beverage choices. Also, anytime of the day or night free coffee/tea machine in the lobby.
This modern hotel is located in central Cartagena, opposite the tourist office and the ancient city walls. Cartagena´s train and bus stations are within a 3-minute walk.

Very good hotel in great location i.e. in walking distance to the old city center. Very convenient paid parking right in front of the hotel. Super nice, multilingual reception staff. Clean. Good Wifi. Great shower. Good breakfast. Good restaurant. Reasonable prices. I'll definitely stay here again.

Cartagena is a beautiful city with stunning architecture, a lovely waterfront, charming squares surrounded by restaurants, and wonderful Roman ruins to see. We would definitely return for a longer stay, as we were only there one night.

Cartagena is a beautiful, small city- not crowded like the other cities we visited. Beautiful architecture along with Roman ruins, especially the amphitheater. Didn’t get to fully explore it, because I was sick one day. Worth a repeat visit.

If you are interested in history there is lots to see in this area, The Roman Ampitheatre, The Underwater Archaeology museum, Drive out from Cartegena on the minor roads in to the hills to discover lots of industrial archaeology. Take a boat trip round the harbour. Discover Aledo a hilltop town. Eating out can be cheap if you eat the menu de dia or a feast if you order off the main menus.

I spent 16 nights in Cartagena because I ran out of money during my backpacking trip in Europe and this was one of the cheapest places to stay in Spain.
Cartagena is a naval port town dotted with ancient ruins, medieval batteries, and beautiful mediterranean foliage. You can spend your time relaxing at la playa, hiking in the national park, having beers at hole-in-the-wall bars, and people-watching with your tostada de tomate in the late morning. The people are friendly and the street cats are adorable. It’s very walkable but there is an extensive bus service as well. It’s maybe not the most amazing coastal spot in Spain but if you’re broke, Cartagena is a lovely town to spend your time in.
Favourite hike: Mt Roldán
Favourite breakfast/coffee spot: Cafés Céldran
Favourite activities: the tourist boat (only 6€!), the Roman Theatre, and the Municipal Archaeological Museum

Cartagena is a lovely city.
Cartagena is a lovely city. Loads of things to see, museums, Roman ruins and more modern sights like the Civil War air raid shelter near to the castle.
The centre of the city is lovely with lots of places to eat and drink at not very expensive prices. The tapas choice is brilliant and offered by every restaurant. It's easy to walk around the town and you don't need a car. The open top Tourist bus is a good way to see the city, so well worth the hour round trip.
We'd definitely make another visit.

Great little city for a two/three night stay (maximum).
Great little city for a two/three night stay (maximum). Lots of history in the Roman teatro, the castle and the naval museums. Nice traffic free city centre with plenty of choice of restaurants and bars, Friendly and safe.
Everything about the building, spacious kitchen area, good sleeping rooms with attached bathrooms, the wifi connection, the rooftop terrace, the exercise room and the laundry. The hostel is nicely built and very new. Good air quality inside the building as well. The hostel's location was also a definite positive. The onshore breeze off of the Mediterranean Sea was a + as well. A nice place to be for awhile and relatively inexpensive. This was the best hostel I stayed in during the 5 weeks I visited Spain.
The location of the hotel is spot on! Room was not huge but it was comfortable and clean, bathroom had all the toiletries and amenities you would expect. Staff was super friendly and helpful, we had breakfast included and even with the COVID restrictions it was easy to get what you wanted and had a plentiful selection.
Definitely will stay again!
English breakfast with toast and eggs and one time even beans. There are many birds to watch. A wonderful place to chill out. What a luxury to have a swimming-pool in this heat. And a lot of beautiful art to discover in the house and outside. I really recommend this lovely place with these friendly hosts Viv & Dan
In the middle of old town, beautiful apartment with living room window to large square with terraces. Bedrooms back are very quiet. It has charming character and style, and flexible caring owners. Even a bit luxury feel with nice decorations around. AC in every room, too.
Very friendly and welcoming. Superb grounds with swimming pool, tennis, ping pong and basket ball. Fantastic breakfasts and very relaxing overall with lots of flexibility to move out and about to Murcia, Cartagena, Mazarron, etc.
Fine hotel. Close to the citycentre. Excellent garage. Friendly staff; Quick and adequate communication. We did took the breakfast. Just coffee and tostadas, which was good. So we come back if we pass lovely Cartagena again.
A modern, clean airy and bright apartment in a great location by the train station and only a short walk down to the port. Really helpful staff too- will be recommending to friends and family for future visits to Cartagena
A short walk to everywhere we needed to get to,the staff especially Ruben were really helpful and friendly, every time we stay in Cartagena we stay at this lovely hotel, great views over the port if you get the right rooms
This hotel is fantastic
Having travelled around spain the last week this hotel was the best one
The hotel is exceptionally clean and comfortable
It is in a fantastic location close to many bars and restaurants
The apartment is wonderful, very clean, fully equipped with all you need. Jose Luis is a very nice and helpful host. We fully recommend. It will make your stay in Cartagena more pleasant 👍
There was nothing to like. The hosts maybe were decent people but the whole place is a scam. I stayed all over Spain in the last 2 weeks in 4 star hotels with less than what we paid here.
A pleasant and clean hotel, but out of town and not the best choice for Cartagena. Parking is in a locked compound attached to the building and charged at €10 a day
