This is a lovely base for visiting the local area.
This is a lovely base for visiting the local area. There are enough restaurants to try a different one every day for a long weekend. The Calle Mayor is beautiful and in the shade in the evening; most appreciated in 30C temperatures. We enjoyed a morning walk with the children along the river where there are several playgrounds and good views.

It is so far from a corporate hotel and we love it for that and other reasons. The breakfast is stupendous, offering more variety than anything that we have experienced outside Asia (with one - also in Spain - fabulous exception). The Spa experience that we had was very good and the outside pool was refreshing on a hot day.

The room was very comfortable with a fan provided (necessary in the summer heat) and the owner was kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place.
