The property has 6 rooms we stayed in the Suite which offered very spacious accommodations and as it was a corner room great natural light and unobstructed view (on east side). As the property is small it is not attended 24/7 by front desk personnel but the staff is readily available when called upon and VERY nice and attentive. Very well taken off, clean, modern, and comfortable and with in minutes of many wineries on the area. We REALLY enjoyed our stay. And their winery had some tasty wine options.

Packed with history and wine. Do your homework and you’ll get more out of trip. Many tours only offered in Spanish. For instance the castle tour portion at Peñafieli is only offered in Spanish and you can’t wander as individual. The wine museum offers English and French as well as Spanish and is self directed.

This is a tiny town that is nice as a base for visiting wineries and historic sites such as Peñafiel or the monasteries, and also for walking the path that goes along the Duero. The river is very beautiful at this point and you can go down and enjoy it. The town is very quiet. There aren’t many restaurants or bars in town, but you’re not too far away from some good places to eat.ElizabethUnited States of America

The staff were very helpful and friendly, they helped us with our travel arrangements. The thermal pool is great, they provide you with robes, flip flops, towels and swim hats. The breakfast was incredible, the spread includes everything you could want for breakfast including eggs made to order.
