The property itself is outstanding. You definitely have the feeling you were in a palace and being spoiled. It is truly beautiful and luxurious.! We considered the Parador however, there is absolutely no comparison!
We stayed in room 213. The room is probably 600 ft.² it has an enormous king size bed, tall ceilings, wood floors, a bathroom with a bidet, huge shower, slippers, robes, and you feel very pampered.

Fabulous spacious room. Super comfy large bed. Quiet. Great view with small balcony. Underground secure parking. It's 15 - 30 mins walk into the old town but after a day's driving, you need the exercise!

Location was excellent, right in the heart of the old town of Ubeda, next to one of the main streets. Room was very large and comfortable. Historic hotel. Staff were extremely pleasant and accomodating. If there was an issue, it was resolved immediately (how to work the heating...)
Located in the beautiful, monumental city of Úbeda, this Parador is housed in a former, 16th-century palace and has kept its original, classical-style interior decor.

A lovely place! There were few tourists so it was possible to really enjoy the sites. Attractions are very close to each other and the most important ones can be covered in a day or two. It is highly recommended to make the 15 minute trip to Baeza, which is smaller but utterly charming. My two favourites: The Sinagoga del Agua (a must) in Úbeda, and walking the surroundings of the Cathedral and the Walls in Baeza. The journey there is also beautiful, as Jaen province is delightful.

Ubeda is a beautiful little city with loads of great things to see, the walls, churches, town hall etc. and local shops/galleries. There is also a huge range of restaurants and eateries (a great ice-cream shop) the views of the surrounding area are stunning. I would recommend staying within the old town walls, a little bit more expensive but worth it for being near to everything by foot.

Doesn't have the tourism magnetism like Córdoba or Granada, but especially if you have to cross nearby, it is worth to spend a day in Ubeda, Baeza and Jaen area.
Represents a different architecture, different landscapes, a more pristine way of living, with less tourism friction

Ubeda is a beautiful city and so is its sister, Baeza.
Ubeda is a beautiful city and so is its sister, Baeza. Both must be seen. You can ask for a tour guide (different spots in the center town) or do a tour on your own but you may miss out on some important information about the historic structures, the "patrimoine" the heritage buildings. One quick point: although our guide was very savvy and knowledgeable, I found the two and a half hours of the tour a bit heavy in Ubeda: too much info and not enough time to satisfy my curiosity when visiting. On the other hand, the Baeza tour guide was also savvy and knowledgeable but he gave us time to appreciate the historic buildings. To eat in the South of Spain is like saying "where is the fridge in this house" - there are eatery places, from cafés, bars, restaurants for every liking and budget. One does not need a car to get around Ubeda. There are always things to do anywhere you look.

The whole of Ubeda is listed as World Heritage for a reason.
The whole of Ubeda is listed as World Heritage for a reason. They are also working actively to bring more sites to the fore. You can get the best selection of teas, needed in the cold days; best at Bar Las Flores, tiny with good prices. Can't list all the sites, there are too many. We did the free walking tour, in Spanish only, starting at the office in Calle Real 13 - excellent guide with very clear diction.

An incredibly interesting place to visit.
An incredibly interesting place to visit. There are historic buildings on every corner of the old town. It is a joy just to wander about looking.
As it is not easy for me to walk far it was a delight to take the tourist train, ensuring that we missed nothing. I was pleased to see many of the beautiful old buildings preserved tastefully as hotels. There were plenty of restaurants and bars around and free tapas too, as it is in Jaén
The hotel is very beautiful and the pool is amazing, although it is in need of some renovations for sure. The staff was very accommodating and very nice. It is a very quiet space and the rooms are big and the bed is very comfortable. It's a shame the bar would close at midnight and there was nothing else.you could order to drink or eat, but the rooms have a mini fridge so you could buy some drinks or food and keep it in the rooms which was pretty nice.
What a beautiful 16th century boutique hotel with clean and modern renovations! The staff were consistently wonderful and accommodating. The location was quiet and surrounded by lovely medieval architecture. The incredibly comfortable bed was so appreciated after long bike rides we took to enjoy the endless olive groves and other small villages in the Jáen province. We hope to return to this very special place.

Fantastic location in the historic heart of Ubeda, with the advantage of having parking outside the property.
The reception wasn't manned and apart from check-in, when we called the number on the door and a receptionist arrived, we never saw any staff.
Simplistic, clean rooms and ensuite bathroom. Bed was comfy and location was quiet ensuring a good night's sleep.
Great staff, fast checking, very helpful finding directions to restaurants etc. Location perfect can not be better. Easy finding free parking just a couple of minutes walk away. Good choice for breakfast extra plus for fresh juice. Very generous assortment in the minibar. Despite some disappointments I will definitely recommend this hotel
This is a very comfortable and clean property in the historic center of the city. The mattress on the bed was particularly comfortable. Very tasty breakfasts are served in this hotel. You can park your car nearby but it is not always easy. But there are different parking lots in Ubeda. The hotel staff are very nice and helpful.
This is an amazing hotel, situated in the centre of Ubeda old town. The Spa is great and at reasonable prices. Staff was very kind, especially at the reception and at the breakfast. The room was very luxurious and the bed super comfortable. Roof pool was also nice, one could swim and enjoy a nice view of Ubeda.
Very professional staff throughout the hotel. Secure parking very useful to have at an additional cost. Room very comfortable and quiet. Having a properly operating fridge is a real benefit and this is not true of all hotels at this level. Breakfast provision very good but without hotel food, which was fine!
The apartment is very swanky and very well located and the bed is super comfortable. The kitchen is also pretty well appointed for a short stay. The TV is giant! Free parking is nearby, but you have to be there just at the right time to score a space. Úbeda is a beautiful town and the food is amazing.
This was my favorite hotel I booked in Spain. Gorgeous hotel in a 15th century historic house. The courtyard very inviting and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious. I loved the room I stayed in. Perfect stay in Ubeda. Would highly recommend. Staff very welcoming and friendly.
Staff was very nice and super attentive. They helped us even finding a parking spot. We were constantly asked whether we needed anything.
Also, the place is really close to the interesting part of the city and still is the cheapest.
The room was comfortable and within a wonderful house - very old but restored in the nineteenth century and now a very special place to stay. Ubeda was charming and recommendations for places to eat were all excellent.
Great location right in the heart of Ubeda. Really friendly and welcoming host. Beautiful decoration. Lovely house and patio. Very well equipped kitchen.
