We had a very spacious, comfortable room (we were fortunate to be upgraded). The staff were very helpful. We ate at the restaurant for dinner (due to the location that was the easiest option), and the food was very good. It was nice to stay close to Cuenca, but away from the tight old town area.

Such an unusual and interesting, old town with plenty of cobbled streets to explore. The museum showing finds through the ages was worth visiting. The highest point of the town has great views across the gorges and some great cafes. The hanging houses are insanely tall.

Cuenca old town is a must in any Spain trip.
Cuenca old town is a must in any Spain trip. We were so fortunate to experience Holy Week festivities and to share with the locals. In addition, we experience intermittent snow which was a wonderful experience. The old town is a jewel with many options to get lost through the streets and to meet locals.

I like to see old historic cities ...even if the "glory days" are over. Cuenca does not disappoint on this count. The cathedral is a magnificent example of this as it is beautifully decorated in parts and equally shows evidence of being somewhat dilapidated structurally..in certain parts.
The "hanging house' theme is a little overworked but it is still very interesting to see what is left of them.
It's sheer geographical location is what surprised me most. The public transport system up and down between the new and old town is very efficient.
I stayed 2 nights...I could easily have stayed 3 to have 2 full days to explore a little more...assuming you can manage the walking...it is rarely flat...you are either climbing or descending usually and it's often quite steep!
I ate at the Piola Gastrobar, which shares the building with the Hotel Convento just up from the main Plaza Mayor. An excellent restaurant in my opinion.

Absolutely wonderful.
Absolutely wonderful. Breakfast was excellent.Dining room was nice, but why would anyone eat there when they will serve you in the beautiful courtyard by the fountain! Pool area is nice, and staffed with a lifeguard. Helpful hint: request a room with a bridge view. We did, and it was gorgeous.

Beautiful historic buildings in stunning scenery.
Beautiful historic buildings in stunning scenery.
Lovely walks especially along river.
Everything in old town close together with regular bus service for other parts of town.
Free parking in Castle area.
Fabulous hotel within an 18th century seminary. Spotless modern room with large comfortable double bed. We paid a small amount extra for a view and it was really worth it. The fact that they include breakfast (in a fantastic dining room) makes the price even better value. Cuenca is a wonderful place to visit and stay and this hotel is the icing on the cake.
The hotel is close to the central.
There is a restaurant in the next to the hotel.
You can go to the famous bridge from there easily.
And the view from the balcony in my room was so amazing!!
The breakfast was good😊
My favorite is the bottle of pine juice , peach juice, and scrambled eggs.
There are plenty of choices in the breakfast.
Hotel was very well situated for our visit to Cuenca. Easy bus ride 100yds from the hotel to the old part of town. Our car was in their underground garage 14e per nite and very safe.
We ate dinner in the hotel and it was excellent, same for staff. Great breakfast, serving all likes!!
Would recommend this hotel.
Very nice place. The woman who checked me in gave kind and great customer service sorting me a bottom bunk and giving me the best available room. It's a new, cute hostel - and located right by the lovely river on the edge of the old city. Cuenca is awesome, this is a great place to stay. Gracias por todos..
Great apartment with a million-dollar view, right in the historic center of Cuenca. Easy key pickup from a hotel nearby. Great views from the bedroom as well as from the private rooftop. Great bathroom, lots of exposed wood and traditional charm in the bedroom. Good wifi.
The property location is pretty good, not too far from the most attractions. The host did his best to make the communication as easy as possible. He also managed to turn on all the heaters right before our arrival. Thank you very much!
This was a really nice hotel. We stayed here because of an anime my boyfriend enjoyed and it was were the creators stayed. The view of Cuenca from here is spectacular and the rooms were very large for European standards.
An honest rustic hotel full of character - if a little quirky - well, its 15th Century!! Car parking close by but would use free car park which is a little further away. Fabulous views of the gorge and Parador opposite.
Perfect location in the center of the town, easy parking in the Hospederia, very friendly staff , simple clean rooms.
perfect place to stay in the center of Cuenca.
This hotel is well located in the centre of the city overlooking a very nice shaded park, and only a five minute walk from the main coomercial/restaurant area.
Wonderful location - the best part of Cuenca. Easy to park a short walk away. Stunning views. Loved automated check-in. Great facilities. Would stay again.
We loved having a Juliet balcony in the loo! it was a lovely parador to explore Cuenca from. the room was a large and the bathroom was well equipped too.
