Beautiful old building beautifully renovated, clean and convenient....In this ancient village the old stone houses are beautiful and white with elegant wrought iron window bars and balconies....but the "streets" are barely wide enough for a car...which only adds to the genuine charm. However parking was available too and there was a useful restaurant and bar within.

Is a small town, with only a few services, but enough for a weekend. You need to be in good shape if you are walking from the main town square to the top (where the the old church is placed) Gastronomy is very nice and has a good quality/price ratio. Public transport is not a good point, so you can hire a rent car, a taxi or have luck with the public bus (going to Cadiz, Jerez or other main cities, but the timetable is quite short)

Ethnographical Museum has excellent presentation with interesting collection of agricultural implements and various areas of life from shoemakers to education (all Spanish). I hear the Archaeology Museum is excellent but unfortunately we went during the Feria and they changed all the hours and was closed.Lyn in CadizSpain
