The hotel was in an ideal setting with lovely gardens and beautiful views. The room itself was spotlessly, clean, quiet and large. The staff was exceptionally helpful. There was a restaurant on site for breakfast and dinner. The food was excellent and a good value. Ronda was 10 minutes away, and other towns were easy and convenient drives from the hotel.

Provided info to open the key safe for the keys but no mention that there were 2 key safe’s & which was the one to use. Wouldn’t normally be a problem but the police would not let us park the car outside apartment block to even access the key safe
No info on how to exit/enter car park on foot.
Car park very tight turns and small spaces so not for a large car/ SUV without scratching paintwork
No indication that there were 3 staircase’s and we needed “C” which was across the courtyard
On arrival we found that a green glass dish on the kitchen island had a foot missing
The living room shutter was jammed about 30cm up & wouldn’t open or close.
The shutter in bedroom wouldn’t stay open as strap was broken
The corner bath with shower had no shower curtain so bathroom floor would get wet
There was a coffee machine but no pods supplied, we bought pods to find the machine turned on but wouldn’t dispense coffee
There is a hole in the floor by the internal terrace door

If you want to get the best out of Ronda visit attractions early in the day as the town gets packed with coach parties from 11 am.
You need 2 nights to get the most out of the city with a day in the old town.
You need to watch out for pickpockets in busy areas they usually work in gangs of 3 men with 2 stopping in front of a person so you can get past them with the third trying to get wallets and pursues the police know this goes on but look the other way so they do not get involved

Ronda is very much worth visiting.
Ronda is very much worth visiting. It has extremely beautiful views and a very interesting history.
But as a well known tourist magnet it is also very touristic. Get up early a clear morning and try to have the views for yourself. When the daily tourist buses arrive from the coast you will have to cruise among large groups of people.
Ronda is actually very much worth staying a few nights. They have excellent hotels, even the not so expensive ones. There are also many good restaurants.

The apartment is spacious, tastefully furnished with kitchenette and a pleasant view of the square. We spent a significant amount of time gaining access to it alongside time spent completing payment. There were language difficulties which took time to resolve. We recommend that the owner looks at simpler ways of receiving payment.
The apartment is a long walk from the town centre and it was very difficult to find. We recommend that the owner gives simple information on its whereabouts alongside the booking confirmation, and with a clear map to assist. We also recommend that payment be made through the Booking.com's website.

Amazing historic town.
Amazing historic town.
We traveled during low season in early February and it was very comfortable walking around, but I can see it might be busy during high season. Some shops and restaurats were closed, but there was still a lot to choose from.
- Great location, just a few minutes drive from Ronda
- Great price and value for money
- Super quick check in and a flexible checkout (we needed to check out very early in the morning)
- Quiet and beautiful surroundings - a big garden, a swimming pool (but we haven't used it), romantic lights
- Comfy and clean bed
- Option to eat at the hotel restaurant
- Really nice personnel that managed to juggle multiple jobs and helped us with whatever we needed :) Thank you!
Met by owner Anna and Sarah friendly. Sarah took my bags to room while I parked close by at their discounted rate. Room very clean, lots of outlets, comfortable. Breakfast was good, needed more protein gave me cheese. Seconds on Coffee. Great Location 5 minutes to main Ronda attractions, Gorge, Flamenco great show, restaurants. This is my 4th time in Ronda and Hotel Colon treated me like family. Affordable and great. Gracias Richard from Frisco, Texas.
Perfectly situated in the old town with fabulous views of the bridge, Ronda and the surrounding countryside.
A beautiful building sympathetically modernised and staffed by friendly and efficient employees.
It turned a tourist's visit into an unforgettable memory.
The room was great, we had dinner and breakfast, both were delicious.
The hotel is remarkable, with so many original interior features but comfortable without being grandiose.
Superb.
Location is great, only 50? meters from the famous bridge landmark, and right across the street from the bull fighting arena. Service and room quality is one of the best we stayed in Spain. Rooms are clean and spacious, and staff are very friendly & helpful. The restaurant at the 4th floor is superb, we could've easily eaten 3 meals a day there (but we only did once otherwise we'd never leave the hotel).
This has to be up with the best apartments we have stayed in 6 places in Spain Firstly we where met by our host and able to enter property before 2pm,
A balcony was great along with strong shower and comfortable bed. Nice kitchen with all the utensils needed
Easy walk from bus station and all the sights of Ronda a short walk away Has to be 10/10
The Parador is a lovely hotel in the heart of Ronda old town. A massive facility in a very historic building on the precipice of the gorge. The room was beautiful and the balcony overlooking the gorge provided breath-taking views. The services were very good - breakfast, lounge, bar, etc. The staff were friendly and very helpful.
Great competitively priced hotel surrounded by nature and farmland. Great place to stay for a chilled and quiet stay. Great bar and restaurant on sight so the 12m drive to Ronda is not necessarily required. Room was comfortable and felt luxury, especially for the price. Would recommend.
The best hotel in Ronda. Room 204 has the most dramatic Vue of the bridge or you could ask for 103 floor below. Absolutely incredible and at night when the bridge is lit up stunning, breathtaking just the best stay ever.
Thank you Don Miguel.
Really nice little hotel under the walls of the old city of Ronda, good location, plenty of free parking. Authentic building in Turkish or Arab style, cool swimming pool in the garden view of the horses. 5 minutes by walk and you in the city.
This hotel was the perfect place to take a much needed rest from our travels. So close to Ronda, yet nestled on a peaceful hill, away from city lights and noise. Friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful stroll through the olive grove.
This is the only place to stay in Ronda, it’s is an exquisite, small, beautifully located boutique hotel with pool directly overlooking the Tajo gorge and countryside. This is our second stay. Fantastically helpful staff.
Wow. What a great hotel. The staff are super nice and friendly, the room was superb and the swimming pool the perfect place to chill on a hot afternoon with incredible views.
Would definitely stay again when in Ronda
Reception staff were exceptional. Welcoming, knowledgeable about the area, and professional. We stayed one day in Ronda, and the location of the hotel allowed us to easily walk to all the sights.
- A few minutes walking distance to Puente Nuevo and Spain Square Plaza de España
- Low density hotel
- Staff upgraded the hotel view balcony view for us
- Classical design in the hotel
great location, lovely room with balcony and street view. Everything in the room worked. Breakfast included, which is rare in Spain. It was good, if a bit basic. Lovely staff
Onsite restaurant was marvelous, some of the best food we’ve had in Spain, at very fair prices.
Hostess (Elaine) was amazing - gracious, kind and helpful.
