Modern hotel, very clean and comfortable, professional staff. Excellent location.
This 17th-century palace offers wonderful views in a a quiet, natural setting. It is located 7.5 mi from the center of Bilbao, 3.1 mi from Bilbao Sondika Airport.
I have stayed in a range of hotels over the last week for my first Stage on ‘Camino del Norte’ and this is the best hotel I have stayed in. The hotel is beautifully furnished with high specifications throughout. My room was large and well equipped. The mattress was very good quality. Jose was really welcoming and attentive. He asked why I had not called him when I got lost so I would advise future guests to call prior to arrival if the address provided is not changed on the Booking.com systems.
The location was close to the airport and my drop off for my hire car. It was good value and my rate even included a simple breakfast with coffee, from a machine, in my room. The hotel is located just outside the modern development of Zamudio, with is few bars which was quite nice in the evening. In this regard, I think it’s better than staying closer to the airport.
Use Bookings directions ! Google took us to same address different place.Stone lodge very interesting.Quite comfortable with a few minutes walk down to the commuter train into Bilbao. We enjoyed the town it was in,good espresso and friendly people.Parking in the lot,on the flight path but flights stopped around 10:30 so not a problem.
Loved the rural location in a very industrialized valley. Rustic and simple charm, with comfortable rooms. A great Camino stop to shorten stage to Bilbao, and nice dinner at cycling themed restaurant in the modern square of Zamudio just 5-10 minute walk. Breakfast add on was at good and worth the price.
If you need a hotel very close to the airport before your flight (8 mi Ute drive) this is the place! Excellent charming small family run inn, with a nice breakfast. Nice shower, and the room big enough for a couple plus a child. Very kind snd accommodating owners!
Thank you!
Excellent agriturismo, nice rooms and overall very cozy. Feels very rural even though located in industrial Zamudio. Located on the Camino. Good for last stop before Bilbao, only 9km from here (also good access by train). Breakfast was very good.
Perfect location if you don’t want to stay in Bilbao. There is a bus stop 100 meters from the property with buses leaving on the hour to take you into the center for around $1.50 euro. Despite being close to the airport you don’t hear the planes.
A lovely hotel close to the beautiful Basque countryside in a great convenient location (brilliant bus services close by for Bilbao and the airport)
Very friendly and helpful staff with the added bonus of a superb restaurant, bar and garden.
Friendly staff, beautiful restaurant with seating inside and out. Breakfast was served at the table and we had a menu to choose from. The place is clean and comfortable. The hotel grounds were like a park.
