The atmosphere of the accomodation is lovely. The host is extremely nice. We had everything we needed. Big plus is the private parking and the water source with water from Teide.

Maria is an amazing host. She welcomed us warmly and was available to answer our questions. She left fruit and vegetables in the room for us and made us feel at home. The view from the studio (a part of a traditional Canarian house) is stunning and the room has everything you need to cook and enjoy your stay. Location in the heart of Chio village, between the Teide and the coast, is very convenient. Would definitely stay there again

Second stay already here, had to come back to the best stay we've had in Tenerife! Located in a peaceful old village, not far from the busy coast but still very "local". Nice views from the dining room over the village and all the way to La Gomera where the sun sets. The apartment is small and cozy, and has a spacious roof terrace with a barbecue. Kitchen is well equipped, only an oven is missing which is understandable for this size of an apartment. Car can be parked in a private garage, but be sure to reserve it in advance. Owner is friendly and helpful. The house has many orange and lemon trees in its garden where you can pick fruits, and there's a water tap for spring water that tastes so good!

Great tradition place on Tenerife! Very special, unusual place, you feel like you born here. Owner is very friendly, everything very clean. Fruit trees on the territory and you can have super fresh lemons, oranges just get with your hands. Great experience!

We loved our stay at casa de Maria. First of all, Maria is extremely friendly and helpful, and her kindness was a highlight to our stay in Tenerife. The property is also truly lovely, located in this quiet but quaint mountain village. Our room had everything we needed, a little kitchen area to cook, and a very comfy bed. The access to the rooftop terrace was a nice touch. Our bathroom was located outside of our room, and just for people to be aware, our room was up a rather steep flight of stairs, while the bathroom and toilet were downstairs. It was not a problem at all to us as we had very light luggage and we are fit, but it might be worth mentioning to the owner if you have heavy luggage or difficulties walking up stairs as maybe a downstairs room would fit better. The bathroom was clean and the shower was wonderful, warm and powerful.

Chio is lovely, quiet and authentic village and the location od the apartment is excellent and close to highway. We are coming back.
