I liked the openness , the palm trees, the centenary Draco tree, the Mediterranean vegetation, the lovely sandy beach and lovely sea, the proximity of the market and of the frontier with Gibraltar and the friendliness of the people ready to help and chat.

Beautiful coastline.
Beautiful coastline. A wide variety of restaurants and cafes at very reasonable prices. A surprisingly lovely town with many pretty squares,, interesting architecture and pleasant pedestrianised town centre. It exceeeded all of our expectations. We had stayed in La Linea primarily to be able to visit Gibraltar on foot - but we eventually chose to spend more time than planned in La Linea.
There is an excellent street market on a Wednesday.

The Boat Haus houseboats are located in a marina within an easy walking distance of the Gibraltar border. The boats have fantastic views of the Rock in one direction and the mountains in the other. It was very pleasant lounging on the roof with the gentle breezes. There are several restaurants within walking distance and each had fantastic food and friendly service. For anyone interested in a different experience than the usual hotel experience, this is for you.
The water views from the rooms are beautiful, and it is very easy to walk and cross the border into Gibraltar.
The hotel is a bit dated and our room smelled like there may have been smokers previously.
The walls aren't the thickest and you can easily hear your neighbors on both walls.
For the price of our stay, it is great value for money, and for that, we give this hotel between a good and excellent rating.
This property is a fantastic way to see Gibraltar! So easy to walk across the border (5 min) and much less expensive. Sergio met us to let us into the underground parking and take us to the apartment. He also showed us where to find groceries and gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation in La Linea. The apartment was clean and looked as it does in the pictures. I definitely recommend this property!
Good location. Very convenient for visiting Gibraltar less than 10 minutes walk to border and La Linea bus station only 5 minutes away. This is a cheaper alternative to staying in Gibraltar. Also to be noted for anyone flying out of Gibraltar is that from here it's just a 10 minute walk to the airport terminal - closer to the airport than much of Gibraltar.
The peace and tranquillity, sunset and sunrise on the terrace, with a beautiful view of the Rock of Gibraltar! The rooms were very cosy. Plenty of hot water. Located very close to a restaurant and 5 min walk from Gibraltar. Great place to stay if visiting Gibraltar, just cross the border back to Spain and stay overnight at this "Boat Haus"! :)
As it says it is right across the road from Gibraltar, also 2 mins from bus station and as back packing very useful. As unable to drop bag without a charge I wandered la linea for a couple of hours before check in and walk to Gib. Pleasantly surprised behind the high rise is a nice vibrant local and in place traditional town.
The hotel is located in the centre of La Linea, very easy to find, close to the Gibraltar airport, very beautiful place. Very friendly and helpful staff and all local people. Very beautiful garden and nice beach, lots of coffee shops and restaurants around the hotel
Excellent gluten free options for breakfast. The location of the hotel is fantastic, close to the centre of La Linea and Gibraltar both. The rooms and beds are massive and you have a stunning view from the balcony. Very appreciated the mini fridge as well.
Excellent Location in Algeciras.About 150 Mtrs from Algeciras Train Station to the Hotel directly in line,& next to San Bernardo Bus Station where you get the Bus too La Linea.. Re:- Gibraltar.Fab Buffet style Breakfast,& nice restaurant

Extremely cheap compared to hotels in Gibraltar. Jut 10-15 minutes by walk from the border, crossing is really easy (at least for eu citizens).
Friendly staff. A lot of nice restaurants around. Huge bathroom (even though the room was small).
We stayed here for a quick overnight and layover to see Gibraltar. Easy walk across the border from here and a nice central location in town with nearby parking. Accommodations are basic, but we got a good nights sleep!
The hotel is a bit old, but it's very clean and the staff in the hotel is really nice and friendly and helped us a lot with everything. Plus, the price of the room is really cheap! Would definitely go back.
Fantastic location for both Gibraltar and la linea. Great communication from the owner. Good air con, every thing you need for an overnight stay. View of Gibraltar rock! Great value too.
Great views of the rock of Gibraltar from two balconies and a rooftop. Close to the freeway and easy street parking, so can easily use as a base to explore the surrounding area.
Friendly helpful front desk staff.
This hotel was fairly basic but reasonably good value for money for overnight accommodation. Good location for Gibraltar border.
