A beautiful friendly village with stunning Mountain View’s. And the 8 drinking water springs are all dedicated to inspiring women. This location is perfect for visiting the local area including Ronda and yet much quieter.

The reason for visiting this area is to relax in the midst of nature so choosing a place to stay that provides this is all that is required to enjoy the area. Montecorto (the village) is beautiful but sleepy - you can't expect to do much here, but that is it's charm.

The hotel is some distance from Montecorto.
The hotel is some distance from Montecorto. The village itself has few amenities. The area is really for those that want peace and quiet or to hike, birdwatch or simply enjoy the scenery and nature. Ronda is around 12 km and the coast can be reached within an hour. Both have a selection of restaurants from simple cafes to high end. eateries.

A small town /large village with plenty of bars and couple of shops.
Being improved with a walkway while we stayed nearby.
Difficult to give overall view because we stayed in the time just before Covid lockdown so very quiet. But I would visit again
A very charming house with lovely owners that will make you feel right at home. You can see the attention to detail and the amount of work the family has put in to transform this place into what it is today. Montecorto is a perfect stop to discover the surroundings and the Sierra de Grazalema. We were surprised by its authentic charme and the well taken care of state of the town/pueblo. Special thanks to Floren for his kind welcome and advices that made our stay a truly wonderful experience. Would always recommend.
The food (and drink) at all the meals was excellent and the hotel took into account our specific dietary requirements. Our room was comfortable with a nice view. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. We had a very enjoyable wine tasting - the sommelier was really informative and friendly. We also did a "sound bath" and the person who ran it was great. The setting was really beautiful - aspects were magical. It is somewhere I would be happy to go back to in the future.
Breakfast choices were a little limited, but everything was of very good quality.
Dinner was very nice and the service was always very good.
The hotel is located in a very quiet place in the middle of nature in a valley between the mountains, the perfect place to relax and be away from noise and busy life. It's nearby lots of beautiful hiking and cycling tracks, so also a good place for more active travelers.
The room was in authentic style, very clean and well maintained.
Loved everything about our stay at this perfect getaway. Julio is a wonderful and thoughtful host. The villa was spotlessly clean, very well equipped and extremely comfortable. The views from the well maintained grounds are breathtaking. Location is very easily accessible and we fell in love with the beautiful and charming village of Montecorto. Definitely recommend to others, and looking forward to our next visit!
It is a beautiful property in the most idyllic location in the beautiful town of Montecorto in the middle of all the white villages of Andalucia. The most delicious breakfast served by Florentino with goodies made by his auntie, his mother, his brother and fruits from their garden so lovingly tended by Raul. Staying at El Molino was a pure joy. Thank you guys.
We spent 2 nights at La Donaira in the beginning of May, and this was one of our best hotel experiences ever. And we have spent hundreds of nights at different 5-star hotels. The staff, the environment, the food, the service. Everything was absolute excellens and we're looking forward to coming back.
This is an exceptional hotel, simply amazing views, you will not get better. Really good customer service and a great restaurant. The hotel is 25 min drive from Ronda and 10 mins from Zahah on the lake. You can easily explore the area or relax by the pool and look at the amazing views
Montecorto is a beautiful town with wonderful views of the mountains. The accomodation is quiet, clean and to a really high standard and quality. The hostess Adelaide is delightful and extremely helpful. Cannot recommend enough
The people, the place, the food-were perfect. We loved swimming and hiking up the hill behind the hotel. Girls gathered mulberries, found bird nests, played with other children-all added to sweet days in the countryside.
The staff are helpful and patient. The hotel sits in a green area with hills and views. It’s near to a few good villages such as Zahara. The price is very good for the value. it’s spacious.
The hotel was beautiful, stunning views, surrounded by mountains, very peaceful and tranquil.
The staff were amazing, so lovely, friendly and helpful! Thank you
