Turre is a delightful little town, only 3.5 miles from the beautiful coastline and resort of Mojacar. The historic centre is typically Spanish with a beautifully preserved town hall and a tiled water fountain which used to be the only water source in bygone years. The mountain views are amazing and it is easy to reach the town via excellent roads. I highly recommend two local restaurants: El Pago and Los Angeles for lunch or dinner; plus the cafe in the main square to enjoy a delicious coffee and people watch. There is also a bakery in the square and at a short distance the well stocked Super Turre supermarket.

Everything you need can be found in Super Turre(Supermarket). The best thing was that it was close to the hustle and bustle of Mojácar & Garrucha but far enough away to be not be as expensive as the coastal areas and way more relaxing after a full day at the beach 😎

What a place to wake up in, the scenery is outstanding and...
What a place to wake up in, the scenery is outstanding and so is the continental breakfast, enough to feed an army, the owners Jose and David could not have done more, they were fantastic. You almost certainly need a car but there are plenty of walks. The local town of Turre is only a 5 minute drive and has lots of bars and shops. Would recommend Solero bar in the town and the supermarket nearly opposite, buy plenty of water from there and anything else you may need, both these places are not over priced and give good service, Solero are very good for food and again reasonably priced, staff are all really helpful as well.Trudy and Mick.United Kingdom
