Staff is amazing, location was perfect. We were greeted by the owners dogs, Luna and Logan, two beautiful Goldens at checkin. fresh herbs come from the garden that also is home to some long-eared bunnies. Breakfast is substantial, and we ate in their restaurant four nights in a row as it was exceptional. We had a lovely balcony room that was very roomy. Bed was very comfortable and room was quiet.

La Zubia can be considered a “dormitory” town for Granada city, located just 15 minutes’ drive away at the base of the Sierra Nevada mountains in the National park. It is a pleasant and clean town with a welcoming atmosphere. El Balcon de las Nieves hotel is a converted family home in the upmarket area of Cumbres Verdes, above La Zubia town. This is a perfect base for exploring numerous villages and the general enchanting countryside within Granada province.

A great place to stay for those traveling in the south of Spain. It is quiet and calm. Very close to the crowded Granada. The view of the mountains is extraordinary. There is no such place anywhere else on Earth.

I loved the fact that you can park right outside the front door of your own private cottage. The property is rustic but spotlessly clean, and the beds are brand new and extremely comfortable. Something I didn't expect, but was grateful for, was the central heating. You are surrounded by nature, which my dog absolutely loves, so we did some good, long walks. I would definitely recommend it and would definitely stay here again.

There are two dogs en several bunnies living at the hotel, which is a plus for animal lovers like us. The view was amazing, the room (suite) very romantic due to super comfy bed, view and bath in the middle of the room,… Breakfast and dinner was lovely and there are so many possibilities to enjoy yourself nearby (Sierre Nevada, Alhambra, Granada, biking, the coast,…). A great starting point for hikes. The apartment had a small terrace and allowed for breakfast in the sunshine and dinner at sunset. The kitchen had everything we needed for self-catering and the living room was spacious. We really enjoyed our stay & would have loved to stay longer.SylvieGermany

The communication with the host was super easy, access to the property and other details are clearly explained. Hot water, clean rooms and kitchen, and nice decorations. From the apartment you have easy access to the buses going into Granada's center (a bus every 30 minutes or so). It was very convenient to park our car in front of the building and then go to Granada by bus.

If we visit Granada again, we will definately be looking to stay in Rincon de Pepa.
