Sheltered in its own pine forest with swimming pool, this fine hotel is a converted mansion with a peaceful location beside Tordesillas.

We did not know of the Parador sites throughout Spain but so happy we found this property and will look forward to staying at another Parador property next trip. We had dinner and breakfast - both excellent food (local, typical cuisine) and good value. We definitely recommend staying here.

Our second stay at La casa del Duero and Maria made us very welcome. A spacious, well equipped studio apartment with the addition of a very comfortable new bed since last time. Positioned on the edge of Tordesillas, easy to find, with lovely walks in either direction along the river.

An interesting central plaza and interesting quirky history of The Mad Queen.
We only ever stay for one night on route to and from Santander ferry port. A very convenient stopping place about two and a half hours drive away.

I assume this is a family run hotel it was clean comfortable and what we needed after a long trip. Its not a 5 star establishment but then again we didn't pay 5 star price and wouldn't we like seeing spain as it is. The breakfast was absolutely excellent. There was a typical Spanish bar and it was good for a drink after a long trip and our dogs were welcome.
We felt it was excellent value and clean and to us that is what we hoped for.
The best recommendation I could give is would I go there again...definitely and we will.

Could stay for 1-2 nights as an stopover.
Could stay for 1-2 nights as an stopover. Nice walk down by the river and a wander around the old Town before finding somewhere to eat. Good choice of places to eat but we chose Hotel Los Toreros on the main road where we were staying . It has a choice of Bar and Restaurant to eat in both with different menus and the food was excellent. There is also a wine shop at the end of the bar for souvenirs! We have stayed in Salamanca before but wanted to stay in a smaller town and were not disappointed. Could be used for a base for exploring the area which is known for its wine!

We stopped over on a very hot day travelling through Spain.
We stopped over on a very hot day travelling through Spain. In the evening we had a pleasant stroll through the old town and down to the beautiful river where our two dogs had a swim and play. We were hot and tired after our journey but till appreciated the general feel of the place.
superb location in town centre, free parking opposite. it’s not a busy town so feels quite safe. excellent hotel with cosy gastro bar with drinks and snacks , used a. lot by locals. comfortable rooms, warm and adequate. best aspect of the whole package is the half Board package, so includes a three course evening dinner, with a choice from a set menu. great food, served in the restaurant not the bar. and drinks are at very reasonable prices. so the whole age is excellent value for money.
Nothing. If we wanted to stay in the suite we booked, then we had no internet (too far away from reception!!). So we had to settle for a small room. we don't mind the "small"...but we do mind "not clean"
Dinner was horrific... no cocktail, no sparkling water... . Breakfast was disappointing.
And I am sorry to say we won't go back to this hotel again.
We've used this hotel on several occasions because it's a great place to break our journeys between southern Spain and the ferry ports for the UK: a short distance off the autovia; friendly, helpful staff; parking at no extra cost; well-appointed rooms with modern facilities and comfortable beds; and a good restaurant.
Excellent value for money this hotel, and you could not fault the breakfast based on price at all.
Young man that greeted us and got us settled in was very helpful and friendly and did his best considering we speak no spanish and he speaks no english, thank you google, we would have been lost.

We booked the hotel last minute to find a place to spend the night between our drive from Santiago to Madrid. Location is very convenient and easy to access from the highway. Toilet has a bidet, which I appreciate very much!:) there’s enough selection for breakfast at the hotel’s buffet.
The room was fine, the bed comfortable and there was a nice balcony. We had a fridge which was useful. The hotel is not far from the centre of Tordesillas which has a lovely old town, a beautiful river and lots of nice restaurants and patisseries.
Parking outside the hotel was easy.

Spacious rooms, location right on the highway - but quiet.
For EV drivers - the Tesla charging station (open to all brands, of course) is right at the hotel parking lot, and even has V4 charging posts.
The breakfast was unexpectedly nice, even though it looked very basic at first.
We enjoyed the patio immensely! With a Dia at the top of the street, it was so easy to get a few snacks and have a bottle of wine out there in privacy. The home was very clean and organized. It had character and charm. We loved our stay in Tordesillas!
The price, Food and drink was all great; good price and very tasty. The terrace was brilliant with a super view of the Tordesillas bridge and Douro river, especially when it was lit up at night. Must be great during the warmer months of the year.
Hotel Torre de Sila is perfectly located a short drive from the motorway and just on the edge of the centre of town - meaning everything is really accessible and yet the place is a haven of tranquility! Perfect!
Bright spacious apartment set in a perfect location for travelling through the area. Easy access to shops and restaurants. The staff at the hotel were really helpful with check in. Thank you
Many stays in this hotel before, staff in bar in same cute confusion, nice area to sit outside in the evening , close to access to motorway ...
staff breakfast kind, thanks for service .
Very clean and comfortable hotel. Very friendly staff. Room is decent size and comfortable bed. Indoor pool a bonus as outdoor pool was closed for the season. Good car parking
