Right near the main square, clean, welcoming. The staff was great - I messed up some dates and they got me all sorted.

The Pension is fully equipped with new modern furniture and is very clean and comfortable. It was close to restaurants and laundry. The owner went out of his way to ensure we felt at home. When we left our luggage in the wrong place for the transfer company to find it the owner took it upon himself to deliver it to our next stay. We were so grateful for his kindness.

We have been here many times and enjoy the size and the people of Estella. There are many small restaurants and places to eat. The town is walkable and the Plazas always seem to have lots of activity. The people are very nice. Spanish also Basque are the primary languages. Not everyone speaks English so brush up your skills and pull out Google translate if you need to. From about March through October/November you will find many pilgrims walking the Camino Francés with backpacks. This is a very old town with many beautiful churches and a beautiful park along the river. Bus service to Pamplona and Logroño are easy to access. Taxis are also available

Estella has a beautiful old town.
Estella has a beautiful old town. The industrial entry to the town seemed to lack promise, but once in the old town, it was wonderful. The Roman bridge was great and we had a delicious menu del dia at the Bar Alday.

Estrella is worth exploring. Lots of little shops and restaurants. A beautiful city. There is a beautiful park close to the bus station and right around the corner to the right ID the bus station is a wonderful little cafe/bar with a clean bathroom.

Estella is great for wandering around with interesting narrow streets, mediaeval architecture and lovely old churches. There is also a park, a good art gallery and a cultural centre. The lady in the tourist office speaks excellent English and takes time to explain the places of interest. Estella is also on the pilgrim route to Santiago di Compostela.

Estella is a beautiful town, rich in history and with welcoming people. The landmarks and churches are amazing. Cafe Mundo on San Nicholas has a wide gluten free selection on their menu and is excellent taste and value. Be sure to try their Sangria and gluten free cheesecake!
The man at the front desk was very helpful. We booked a second night and it turned out that we had to leave at 5am and return at 9pm, meaning we would have missed check-in time. He checked us in the night before which helped us a lot. His service made the hotel so attractive that we decided to stay a third night, but this time in a private room.
The hotel is clean, comfortable, has everything you need, shampoo and shower gel are free.
This hosteria is the first one as you enter Estella from the Camino…so awesome after a long walk. The check in was smooth and the women working there were friendly and attentive. They have a washer and dryer which is well worth the $. The room was a nice size with a private bathroom, both were very clean. There was beer, wine, and cafe available at reception as well. This property was so much better than expected!
Excellent location and good value, excellent breakfast. The place was full of locals eating when we arrived on our motorbikes - which is a good sign. Our twin room had three beds and a good air conditioner. Lovely outside area to eat/drink. Parking is opposite the hotel with spaces for motorcycles. It’s a 30 minute walk into town along the Camino de Santiago with plenty of other things to do if you need it.
The apartment is centrally situated and of high quality. It had everything we needed for our two night stay (while on the Camino) including a washing machine and clothes airer. Dina was very helpful and came to the rescue when our bags (which we sent forward from place to place using a company - Jacotrans - that arranges this service) were delivered to the wrong location in Estella. Thank you Dina!
Everything. Location, amenities and comfort. Even provided coffee and light breakfast for us to prepare before our next Camino day.
I booked this apartment after a terrible experience with a nearby hotel. Less than 10 mins after booking we met with host and they got us squared away.
Completely lovely hosts and one of the best apartments I have had on Camino.
Will return for next Camino!
A beautiful modern and clean room at this recently renovated hostel. More of a hotel than hostel as the facilities in the common area allowed self catering and the room was luxurious. Great air conditioning and Wi-Fi to top it off. Also a terrace out the back for meeting other guests or generally relaxing. A great location in the old area of town and close to many restaurants and shops.
As we were walking the camino, the location was perfect - a little off the way (five minutes walk) so that it felt peaceful and quiet but only a short walk away from getting back on the route. The hotelier was so lovely and friendly and really flexible and the apartment was so beautifully clean and peaceful, a real haven.
The only reason I didn’t say that the hotel exceeded my expectations was because I’d stayed there 2 years previous and knew what to expect. The room was perfect in every respect. The owner handled check-in personally and was very clear and helpful. I walk the Camino periodically and will always stay at Hostal La Rua.
The location of this hotel was fantastic with amazing views of the old town centre. Although the auto self check in process takes a bit to get used to, it is very straightforward. The room we had was small, super clean and modern but enough space for what we needed.
We like the decoration of the room, and the staff is very friendly. She recommended us to have dinner in downtown Estella and provided us the taxi info. because their restaurant was closed on that day. A good value of the stay, very clean and comfy.
Hiking the Camino it was way too far from the path disappointed about that. That is a problem with bookings.com in general it is too far from the Camino path peep. You need to warn people on the Frances app how far hotel is from walking path
it’s wonderful to have this nice apartment on the Camino . it was my 2nd stay here and just clean , roomy and complete with washer/dryer . will be back again when I visit Estella . great communication with staff .
Really great place - more like a hotel than an albergue as it came with sheets and towels (although the owner said she was giving us a free upgrade!) Lots of space, great location, highly recommended!
The guesthouse is located right in the center of Estella. Check in very fast. Very nice owner. Small but clean room. Shared outdoor bathroom, but it didn't bother me.
