I'd asked for a room near the stairs as I have limited mobility but the room was some distance away & up a few extra stairs, where I tripped

Excellent staff and dining, let down by small rooms, inappropriately allocated.

The money invested in the property seems to have been directed mainly at the pods and the collective areas (breakfast, dining and lounge areas) and these were good, Some has been spent modernising bedrooms, but much remains to be done. Windows & doors were in poor condition and difficult to open (making the very small room 'stuffy') - I'll try the 'pods' next time. My room was far too small for a 6 night stay and was at the farthest point from the dining areas; up 4 flights of narrow, steep stairs - not recommended for a 75 year old. My view was none existent. These last two issues would prevent my return.

The collective areas (breakfast, dining, lounge) were very good. The food was excellent and the staff superb (going the extra mile without being asked, and always smiling and making us feel welcome and like friends). The location was superb, close to Glencoe and Fort William (although the latter left much to be desired!).

Common area was not as well maintained as the room. Linens were not fresh, still smell of damp.

Room was top. Bed was comfortable. Staffs were super friendly.

The single room was in need of refurbishment, the bed was worn and it was overall very expensive for a single room. Wifi was not working.

The property was well situated and the staff was friendly.

Expensive, rooms a bit tired and need of upgrading.

We stopped over here on our travels up north a few times. The views are incredible from the deck and restaurant. Ample free parking. Hotel is decent, food is excellent and staff work hard. The manager solved a minor issue for us quickly and really impressed us with his genuine caring attitude!

I had a single room that was clean but very small, as was the bathroom. The plumbing was good. The bedroom was very tired and in need of an update.

Breakfast was pretty good. The bar/restaurant were very good - nicely decorated, spacious, clean, good dinners, friendly attentive staff. Car parking was good.

The hotel was beautifully located looking over the loch, with a large terrace to sit out of and the rooms overlooked it. The hotel were very accommodating and helpful with a last minute date change. Rooms were clean and a decent size, very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast for £13 was faultless. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The facilities are quite old and for the price, I was expecting a more modern and comfortable hotel. I understand that the location and parking facilities can partially justify the price though.

Breakfast was good and the view was great. The restaurant is also nice with a great view. The room is a good size. The staff is very helpful and polite. Great location and parking space.

A very old building with stinky carpet everywhere, super small rooms and the most uncomfortable pillow I have ever used. Just go to this place if you're on a budget or if everything else is full.

The staff is incredibly kind and available and the room was fairly clean but this is where the good stuff ends.

The hotel was a little uninspiring, it was very cold inside and the decor was bland, not very Scottish. The meal prices were very expensive but there isn’t much nearby so I suppose there is a captive market. Our suggestion is to eat before you arrive or bring something to cook for your evening meal and for breakfast.

We stayed in Skye beach pod which was fantastic. Right on the beach. It had a kettle, toaster, microwave and hob so everything you could need. Bed was comfortable and it had a great bathroom and shower. We stayed during storm Kathleen so it was quite the experience but the pod remained cosy and we felt safe. It was actually wonderful to hunker bunker during the storm and watch the weather and stormy sea from the pod, remarkably we slept really well. However, it would also be amazing to sit on the deck in better weather!

Toilet in the single room was very close to the Sink pedestal in fact so close I couldn't sit on the toilet properly. This could be rectified by fitting a ceramic pedestal instead of the pointless cupboard type. The music for the breakfast room was put on at 0645 and it woke me up / I couldn't get back to sleep. Breakfast didn't start until 0800 so suggest it isn't put on until this time in future. Bar closed early (2200). It should be open until 2300 if guests are still drinking (I was).

Food & Drinks were excellent. Modern Restaurant Area. Breakfast was brilliant. Staff very helpful

We stayed on perhaps coldest night of year and underfloor heating struggled to keep up. Temp had dropped to 15 deg by the morning. Bed was nice and warm though so no big deal

Pod is a nice experience. Had 2 dogs with us for £15 extra. View is spectacular. The new luxury pods are worth going for compared to the older ones they have on site. Hotel does decent food. Friendly staff and very helpful.
