In the center of Calatayud, in the Aragon region of Spain, this historic-style hotel features beautiful rooms decorated in a traditional style, with hardwood floors and beams in the ceilings.

Location very close to main Boulevard, with cafes, bars and restaurants. Excellent breakfast, very good value.
Lovely room. This was our 6th stay. Have just booked our next stay.

Location ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
It is near Calatayud Train Station going to Madrid or Barcelona via Regional Trip. Also it is near at the major business centers and establishments in town (Bank, Fastfood Restaurant, Grocery Store etc...)
Service/Personnel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
They are friendly. The woman from the afternoon shift who assisted me while checking in and also the man from the morning shift who helped me with my issue with the super hot water coming out from the shower.
Cleanliness ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
So far, this is the only thing I am happy about. It is clean and the decors are up to date.
Casa Aljez offers accommodations in Calatayud, 18 miles from Monasterio de Piedra Natural Park. The air-conditioned accommodation is 18 miles from Monasterio de Piedra.

The biggest problem was finding the hotel - postcodes in Spain cover way too big an area and often the street location information seems to be in a local language variant and not accepted by a SatNav device. All this coupled with the fact that few people speak English makes finding hotels a bit of a problem.
Great location en route to southern Spain.
Good value for money. We had sleet and hail then rain soon after arrival. We were relaxing in our room when water started to drip through the ceiling onto our bed. the staff were brilliant. We (and others) were immediately allocated new rooms. The staff continued to serve whilst trying to clear up the mess. they were brilliant.
We loved our stay in Calatayud and our apartment suited our needs perfectly. It's spacious, quiet & well located and the communication with our friendly and helpful host was great. Although the apartment is on the 4th floor there's an elevator available if needed. We found Calatayud an interesting city to visit and the Museo is well worth a visit.
I became unwell whilst staying at the hotel and the staff could not do enough to help me. they were so kind.
Apart from that, the hotel is perfectly sited for walks around the town and is central to all sites. It is exceptionally clean (as have been all hotels in Spain that we stayed in).
i would not hesitate to stay there again
The hotel appears to be a half converted monastery with new sections and some very old parts, tastefully done. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Calatayud is a small quiet town and worth a visit, based in this hotel. Parking is in an underground car park on the other side of the road, at extra cost.
A great location for me to stop on the way from Andalucia to France. The hotel is easy to find and only a couple of minutes' drive from the autopista. The staff were all very friendly, the room was comfortable and the breakfast was good. If I do this journey again, I'll stop here.
i like the location of the hotel, it is very near in the bus station and very easy to find.. the staff are so kind and accomodating..they are very easy to deal with and very eager to help us in our needs. if ever i will go back to Calatayud i will go back on this hotel again.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful, including the room and the location. It really was a pleasure to stay for two nights, as well as being clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful with regard to special requests.
A lovely old fashioned hotel with beautiful pieces of period furniture on display throughout. Carefully and intelligently made very accessible for wheelchair. Lovely staff.
Super nice staff, check-in and check-out were smooth and fast, and the hotel in general is fantastic, with great facilities, especially taking into account the price.
Good evening meal in the restaurant; simple breakfast served in the bar. The building is beautiful. Finding the hotel was tricky but found it eventually.
