The breakfasts and the hospitality were just above and beyond. It is a warm and wonderful B&B; you can feel the love, care and intention that has been put into VV. We will be thinking of those dreamy breakfasts out in the garden for a long time!

The breakfast buffet was plentiful and offered something for everyone. The staff was helpful and friendly. We were able to use the hotel bikes for free and anytime we wanted. The bike path in Levanto along the coast was beautiful. The room was nice, but a little small for a family of three. (But who wants to stay inside when visiting the Cinque Terre?) The location of the hotel was excellent, close to everything. The train station was within 5 minutes walking distance. We would definitely come back!
Offering a free wellness center, and a panoramic terrace with large, outdoor hydromassage pool, Park Hotel Argento is 2625 feet from Levanto Train Station.

This is a beautiful little hotel with incredible views of the surrounding hills. It is a very short walk to the train station (5-7 minutes) which takes you to Monterosso and other Cinque Terre cities within, again, minutes. The staff is friendly and restaurant is delicious- especially the breakfast and seating on the terrace surrounded by roses. We loved it.
Set in the green hills of Liguria next to a stream, the family-run Abetaia Hotel offers a friendly welcome to the Cinque Terre. Levanto center is 10 minutes' drive away.

Location, easy walking from train and to the shops or sea side. I checked in early, they stored my luggage for the day, I picked up when the room was available. Great service.

Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Staff were very friendly. We had a beautiful little outdoor area outside of our room. There was a nice sitting area inside that was big enough for all four of us.

Well connected station with great access to Cinque Terre.
Well connected station with great access to Cinque Terre. Lots of restaurants, supermarkets, very pretty with the beach and the mountains, very relaxed feeling as not madly busy like some of the Cinque but still with plenty of things to do.

Beautiful city with so much old world charm, beautiful views, excellent restaurants (Osteria Tumelin Levanto was our favorite), bakeries, and coffee shops. Perfect location if you're visiting Cinque Terre - just a 5 minute train ride to the first of the towns but much less congested.

If you are walking the Cinque Terre, then Levanto is the ideal location. You get the train travel at a reduced price as you are just inside the region, the trains are quite regular and quick. Its handy if you want to go further up the coast to Portofino or down the coast to Pisa and beyond.
Its a proper town, so has all the things you need (supermarket, pharmacies etc) unlike the actual Cinque Terre towns which are crowed with day tourists and mostly cater to their needs.
We had a great stay here, lots of choice in restaurants would be more than happy to return if we had the time.

We chose Levanto because we wanted lodging to be in a relatively flat area but as close to the Cinque Terre cities as possible. The town itself is charming with lots of restaurant options. The people we met were friendly and helpful. Given the 5 cities of Cinque Terre, we allowed ourselves 5 nights and 4 full days - probably a day or 2 too long. It was easy to use the hop-on, hop-off boat and get a great view of the cities from the water. Travel to those cities by train was easy but crowded in mid September.
Perfect location. Cinque Terra Train station from 10 min walk away, Levanto center and beach 10min walk away. Free parking place was really great, as otherwise it would have been challenging to park for longer periods of time. Room was big and it has nice own table in the balcony which is into sunset direction (even though the mountain blocks the final sunset view as it does in all the Lavento locations in this time of the year). You could adjust the toilet and room temperatures perfectly yourself. Barbara was perfect host and very helpful.
Casa Ella was one of the nicest accommodations in the neighborhood, compared to others around it. Space was clean and functional. Wi-Fi was good. Bed was comfortable. Living room was comfortable. We had some trouble finding it, but Laura sent help to guide us. After that, we learned that if you put Casa Ela into Google Maps (instead of the address), it takes you right there! It's high up in the hills above Levanto so if you are seeking peace and quiet, this is the spot for you. If you want to be near the action, then stay down in the city.
Staying here made our holiday in Cinque Terre! It was in a great location- 5 minute walk from the train and 15/20 minute walk to town centre. They provided us with a bike each which we used to get everywhere. Luca and his parents were so welcoming and hospitable for our whole stay- providing a lovely breakfast in the morning and recommendations for what to do while in Levanto and Cinque Terre.
I would absolutely recommend for anyone to stay in this accommodation- it's homely and comfortable and they make you feel so welcome.
This place is a real paradise. We had a perfect, wonderful vacation. Ilaria, Mario, the family and staff built and run this perfect boutique hotel, up in the hills of the Cinque Terre above Levanto. They put their heart, soul, creativity and love in every little detail, to make this a beautiful, unique and comfortable location. They are also very friendly and hospitable and cater to every need and request. The room, pool area, spa, homemade breakfast, and garden are all exceptional. thank you so much.
The room was very clean, and it has a lot of space for two people. As seen in the pictures, the WC is close to the room, but it shouldn’t be a problem flor solo-travellers and long time couples. For shy people, it offers a great oppportunity for brief walks to discover the beauties of Levanto ;) The amenities were great, the room has a mini bar and even though it is paid, it’s a life saviour when you want a drink in the midnight. Daría was very welcoming, we had a lovely stay. Prices were good.
Everything was just perfect! The couple whos running the BB is absolutely nice and friendly. They gave us very good advices and asked every day about our wellbeing. The location is awesome, 5 min walk to the beach and the ship to cinque terre. Levanto is the closest village to the cinque terre but its not that crowded.
The room was lovely decorated and the breakfast was the best breakfast Ive ever had in all the BBs Ive tried in the years! I can absolutely recommend that BB!
I can say we got the best breakfast here during our 2 weeks stay in Italy. You can have several options to pick typical a breakfast other than sweet croissant and cookies. The hosts was very friendly and helpful. You get also a parking permission to park in the downtown (free). And we also got a detailed description with a map what to see and how to get there. So we can recommend this place :)
This charming hotel boasts a stunning vista overlooking Levanto, beautifully appointed rooms and Bernardo is a wonderful, gracious host, highly recommend! We had considered staying in Cinque Terre and we were glad we didn’t as La Madonetta was a relaxing, rejuvenating retreat. Hospitality was second to none.
The hotel is in a great location in the centre of Levanto. Our booking included breakfast which was served at the cafe next door and consisted of cereal with yoghurt, a hot and cold drink, and a choice of a croissant or other pastry. Good communication with the host, and we were able to check in early.
Honestly everything was just fantastic . The owner Illaira was so lovely and kind and even made us a packed lunch as we left as my sister and I were cycling through Italy. We had a delicious breakfast and everything was so clean and enjoyable. And she managed to book us a table at a local restaurant.
Under 10 minute walk to train station and downtown. This was a great location to see the Cinque Terre as the train runs from Levanto to La Spezia and the 5 villages are in between. Location was perfect for our trip. We did the walk to Bonassola as well… under 30 min and well worth it.
What a lovely hotel and a great basis to visit the cinque terre as well as the beach and have dinner in Levanto. The people were very friendly, our room was really nice. We would have loved to have the possibility for dinner at the hotel because the view from the terrace is great.
The place was beautiful very clean and comfortable
The host was amazing and helpful
Breakfast was amazing all fresh and delicious
The views from the hotel and sunsets are stunning
If you are in levanto don't book another hotel , only this one
Hotel Palace was the perfect base for exploring Cinque Terre! The staff were incredibly friendly and accomodating and the breakfast was delicious. I had a wonderful stay in Levanto and would love to visit again- thank you Hotel Palace!
Villa Mesco was spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped. The location was perfect within easy walking distance to Levanto and very close to the Cinque Terra walking trail. Paolo was very accommodating and easy to work with.
The cottage is close to the center but still in a quiet location. Only the church bells are very loud several times per day which is of course not really changeable and is traditional for Italy.
Lovely, fully equipped apartment.
Owners were welcoming and helpful.
Perfect setting off point to see the Cinque Terre. Restaurants and supermarkets in Levanto are reasonably priced.
