The hosts were the most welcoming in all our years of traveling and volunteered information about Arcos to make our stay more interesting than just a stopover. The appointment of the apartment was superb. Many books about the history of the area and personal touches made the apartment more like a home than a hotel room. The property is plumb center in the historic Old Quarter of Arcos and a chock full of history, complete with remaining artefacts dating back more than a thousand years.
