The location is perfect to visit Granada, Jaen, Ubeda, and small villages around. The setting is idyllic for recharging after a long day of exploring. Lovely traditional hotel with a friendly welcoming owner. Our room was cosy with the heating working well and immaculately clean. Breakfast was traditionally Andalucian, delicious and available whenever we were ready for it. We ate dinner downstairs one night, and those grilled prawns were the best I’ve ever had.

I had a really nice stay. Catharina is very nice and courteous host. She provides you with all necessary information about the village and the surrounding area. And is always there to answer questions or help otherwise. The hotel is a place of relaxation and comfort. You can even have a massage in the hotel. The little terrace is perfect to enjoy the delicious breakfast. I definitely will we back.

The hotel was so good that I canceled the whole day plan and just stayed there. Really beautiful place with plenty of places to enjoy. Everything is organic at hospederia la era and the owners are so kind and supportive. You shouldn’t miss the breakfast, carefully cooked at home or bought from nearby artisans they work with. If you’re visiting Cordoba, or Granada, this is the place to give you a refreshing day-off away from the bustling cities.
