Nice to wander around.
Nice to wander around. Cathedral blocked off internally for works. Roman walls are pretty impressive. Turismo was very helpful. Museum has poor labelling (in Spanish too on the whole). Had a lovely tour of a convent cloister, opposite Turismo, but be warned, no photos and the nuns speak no English, although the nun who showed us around managed to find some notes in English!

The hotel setting is fantastic, an old, refurbished Bishop's Palace, but one must understand the flip side of the coin, not a newly built modern building. It is not managed by a large corporation, and this gives it a certain hominess. And ioyt is a wonderful location in Coria. Finally, had dinner at their restaurant, and both service and food quality were suprisingly good, and again a great value.

The room was clean enough, comfortable and we liked the view from our window. The hotel is housed in an old palatial residence (built in the 17th century) and this provides a unique charm to the property.

The location is brilliant - is Plaza De Cathedral in the heart of the history. Bed was large and comfortable. Room quiet & the staff perfectly pleasant.
