Really nice and comfortable apartment. Everything was modernly renovated and new, the beds are super comfortable. We loved the location, it is next to a river, very pieceful and beautiful. From the apartment it was a very easy walk to the charming little town that has a couple of bars and nice places to eat. We would come back here for sure!

Everything shut down on Sunday evening in the village, so you need to travel a few km away to find a restaurant. We were tired after a long drive, so found this inconvenient. Also, no cars allowed to park in the streets in centre over week ends, so if you have a smart car, this might be a consideration. All that aside, the village and the area is gorgeous and well worth a visit.

Wonderful stay at Teatrisso.
Wonderful stay at Teatrisso. Tastefully renovated property respecting all the traditional features but bringing in modern amenities & comforts. Cuzcurrita Rio Tiron itself is a beautiful medieval village in the heart of Rioja and wonderful location to get to all the vineyards to wine taste.

We arrived after 10 pm and the bar/restaurant was very busy with customers watching a rugby match. Staff were really welcoming, sorted our checkin really quickly and gave us a run down of the place. They were serving food late in to the night and gave one of our kids a complimentary hot baguette.

Very nice small town with a square, at least three bars (one in the square), church, small river, a couple of restaurants, interesting old buildings and not far from a lot of small wine producers. There was a very small shop but we never saw it open, not like small French towns in that respect.
