No complaints, from start to finish there is nothing more we could have asked for. Linda was super friendly and helpful. The apartment was spacious. All areas safe for a newly walking 1 year old! TV and Xbox useful for my older son. Beds were comfy. Rooms were dark (perfect for little one). Air con worked well. Showers were powerful. Beach and pool equipment provided was in good working order. Kitchen well equipped. Short, flat walk to beach, restaurants and shops.

The close proximity of the town to the beach and super walks...
The close proximity of the town to the beach and super walks along by the beach are excellent. If the weather is right this is an brilliant location to learn water sports. One real downside of the town is the constant overhead low level flying from what seemed to be a local army training camp. While this was intriguing on the first day/night, by day 4 it was actually really annoying and would probably make me choose another location again. Pretty much all the restaurants were good however the higher priced options were not to standard.MauraIreland - 10Scored 10

There is a large selection of restaurants and bars but nowhere is very rowdy, everywhere feels friendly and safe. You can choose a different cuisine every night and there is everything from basic pizza to fine dining. Suits all budgets.

A lovely little SPANISH town, a good mix of new and old. Lovely promenade and cafes and restaurants but I would not swim in that water if you paid me - although people were in the sea. The Mar Menor is what it says - a small sea, it is fed through a channel from the main Mediterranean Sea but it isn’t tidal so was quite grubby and smelly with a lot of algae gathering by the shore. There is also a huge amount of sea grass growing. There is a strong movement to clean it up after a few disasters over the last few years. It is also very close to San Javier airport where the Spanish air force train so there are a lot of small planes flying around all the time . Our first time to stay in this area & it was beautiful,with the beech on your doorstep.There is also a communal pool which was never packed during our stay anyway. It is a more residential area than tourist so a little quiet which is what we wanted.However the busier area is only a 20 minute walk with lots of markets, shops & restaurants.For us it was perfect 🤩gwenIreland - 6.0Scored 6.0

Not good sun beds on the beach dirty and worn, some nice bars and restaurants around , no upmarket shops, bit too British for liking but thats just a personal view. Hen parties and Karaoke… irish bars great if thats your type of resort.

It had everything we needed for a 3 week stay over Christmas and New Year and we were made to feel so welcome with some lovely festive touches. Perfect location as a base to explore the region of Murcia. We can't wait to return!
