Cute town in the "foothills" of the Guadarramas.
Cute town in the "foothills" of the Guadarramas. We did a nice hike our first day there. The second day we went up to the ski area several miles to the north and did a snowshoe hike. There were plenty of skiers up there as well (it was March).The town had all kinds of nice bodegas and restaurants, no tourist stores since it is kind of off the beaten track. The village was pleasant to look at but restaurants and shops were closed on the Monday. Did not visit village after Monday. It would be easy to get around village but no point as it was raining all the time we were in the area and the temperature was as low as 15 degrees. Would not stay in Navacerrada again or recommend except in high season.MalcolmSpain

And of course, the swimming pool was perfect! :) The house was about 15 minutes walking till the center of Navacerrada and the views till there were simply breathtaking! We were able to rest and enjoy every minute of our time. The owner was also extremely nice and very helpful, she was answering quickly to any doubts or questions we had. We'll surely return and I can't recommend the place high enough!OlgaSpain

It is an old house completely renovated and converted to a hotel. While there isn't much sound-proofing and the rooms are small, it is a delightful mountain stay surrounded by nice things, with a beautiful terrace and restaurant. Also close to the beautiful lake walk, with a stunning sunset.ClareSpain

We strongly recommend it. Mar, the host, was very kind and always available and gave us some really good recommendations for walks and places to eat. Hope to be back in the future!
