The staff was great! The location perfect for me. The let me check in very early even though my room was not ready because I would be coming back very late that night. Also, they have a great Spanish-style breakfast either the best coffee I think I ever had.

Roberto was the best host you can ask for. He gave us recommendations, showed us the history of the hotel and served us breakfast every day. The room was enormous and we slept like babies

A beautiful little walking town (actually it has historical city status!). Within easy train journey to Bilbao. Lots of wonderful scenery with plenty of interesting and/or challenging walks. Plenty of cafes with helpful locals. Vibrant town square in the evening. Great central place to use as a base for Basque activities.

Interesting old town with an amazing museum displaying many artefacts from the local trades (e.g. shoe making, chair making, confectionery) and a fantastic collection of fossils and minerals. Don't miss the museum!

An interesting, isolated Basque town with a long history.
An interesting, isolated Basque town with a long history. Well worth a visit for a night or two, but be careful out of 'season' and at the beginning of the week if planning to eat out in the evenings.

It was a town with plenty of character.
It was a town with plenty of character. The main square was very attractive with colonnades. Every narrow street off it had views of the surrounding mountains. You can get round easily as the town is small.
Don't know about activities for young couples as we are in our late seventies!!! The area is very beautiful.
We ate in the hotel and found it good.
We had a fantastic stay and the hotel was excellent. The staff were super, especially the barman who entertained our son and us with amazing magic tricks. The patio for drinks was just right for a relaxing drink. The hotel is close to some bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. The location on the plaza was fantastic. My wife and son thoroughly enjoyed the spa treatments. Would definitely stay again if we get the chance.
A beautiful hotel right in the middle of Orduna. In the evening the locals come out on the square and the place comes alive. Very friendly staff who helped us by allowing our bicycles to be stored inside. Large corridors to the rooms and inviting communal areas. Well appointed large bedrooms that were well kept.
Room was comfortable. The hotel is clean and pleasant. The spa area was quite nice, they have several pools, saunas and everything you would expect. The place is nice and you can dine on pintxos and good wine.
The hotel was popular with the locals and their children could play outside in the plaza. The room was huge with an impressive stone wall. There was a shop and many restaurants close by.
The structure itself is impressive. The windows opened up on the plaza which was very pretty. The staff was great and the gym was one of the best hotel gyms I have used.
Beautifully designed hotel in a superb location. Very helpful kind staff and great food and breakfast. Clean comfortable room. Great beds and shower. Wee gem
