The property meets exactly what you see in the reviews... Both positive and negative. What stands out is the location of the hotel. The hotel is located on the boundaries of an amazing natural park with beautiful mountains and authentic towns. This makes it excellent for biking, running, and hiking.
There isn't much to do in El Puig, to be honest. We stayed there because were invited to a wedding at La Cartuja, which is a very nice place.
We took advantage to visit the Monasterio de Santa María del Puig (guided tours during the morning) in the center of town and the Printing Museum, in the same Monastery building. Both were nice. About 25 minutes heading North we visited the Coves de St. Josep, in which you take a boat ride on the longest underground waterway in Europe! And further 60 minutes North, on the coast, the beautiful town of Peñíscola.

The room was clean and the view and the pool were fantastic.
The room was clean and the view and the pool were fantastic. . This would be a great place for anyone who did not have to have wifi. Also, there were no restaurants within walking distance. The lack of reliable wifi and other restaurants is the reason I would not return.

The staff were excellent and all spoke English.
The staff were excellent and all spoke English. They were very helpful. Nothing too much trouble.
Everything was clean in the room and in the rest of the hotel.
Good choice of breakfast, midday menu excellent at 9€ 3 course, evening menu very good.
Excellent value for money.
We paid an extra 10€ a night on arrival for a room with a usable balcony, and it was really spacoius.
Ordered cafe con leche each morning to drink on the terrace 1.30€. Didn't eat in the restaurant but there are numerous places within 2 minutes walk.
Mercadona is less than a 10inute walk, and their takeaway counter has an extensive choice, plus a customer use microwave, and bamboo utensils! El Puig railway station is also 10-15 minutes walk, with frequent trains to Estacion Norte.
Beautiful Spanish B&B in the outskirts of Valencia.
Overall decor is very appealing, nicely tuned in with the surrounding scenery of coastal Spain.
Beds where comfortable. Bathroom ample and fully equipped with all toiletries, towels etc.
Common areas and grounds are well designed and the pool / jacuzzi setting is just right .
Breakfast was also of very good quality with a wide variety.
The "honesty bar" an awesome offering. Basically 24 hour self serve drinks and snacks.
Greeted by the owner & manager, Nico, lovely genuine people. A beautiful oasis, absolutely stunning, with every attention to detail.
Our only issue was that we were only there for one night.
Breakfast was outstanding. They must be proud as we have stayed in 5 star hotels that do not meet this standard. Would love to return. Thanks for a lovely stay!

I like the staff!! Even after closing time of kitchen, it was still possible to order. Thank you! Also for clean sheets and towells with these high summer temperatures. The hotel itself is nicely decorated. Cashba is very nice and really enjoyed staying.
The staff Rosalind and Suniel were wonderful staff, very friendly and professional. The breakfast was top quality, with eggs done a la carte and fresh orange juice. The room was very comfortable and absolute clean. We highly recommend this hotel.
We were in the best room, on the 4th floor with terrace and view to the sea.
The beds were comfy. It was clean. And it was cheap, comparing to other options in Valencia. So overall very happy.
Nice hotel, great staff. Food good and reasonably priced. We used it base to explore Valencia, travelling in by train from the local railway station which is about 3 miles away - free parking.
Its a very simple but clean hotel. The room is small and simple too but I can't complain considering the price. They let me keep my bicycle in the garage which was very nice.
