Villaralbo is a small working village in an agricultural environment. There is a pleasant church and surrounding area to stroll but not a tremendous number of tourist attractions. In contrast however, the River Duero runs a short walk away where locals fish and relax. There is also a canoe club which use the river. We usually walk for about an hour along the bank and enjoy the tranquillity of the river and the varied wildlife there. Really a hidden gem for those who love the countryside.
We stayed for 4 nights in this hotel which met all our needs.
The room was super clean, big enough with a comfortable bed and most importantly well heated.
The hotel offers free parking, a restaurant with good menus, abundant and at a good price.
The breakfast was excellent with fresh and genuine products.
The kind elderly owner still works and sees that everything works well to make the customers happy.
In the final quality / price are really excellent.
We will definitely be back next time we return to Villaralbo.
Famous Hotel and Restaurant! Old fashion hotel but also with improvements! Clean and cozy! Owner and staff very friendly and supportive. Very good restaurant with terrace! Awesome local and sea food dishes! You have to try it!
Warm regards and all the best to famous chef and patrón Doña Aurelia for her dedication and involvement in promoting the local values and potential!
Hotel a little dated but very clean. Very friendly staff and amazing owner, a delight - exceptionally welcoming. Very quiet. Welcomed our dog and lots of great walks nearby. Good bar food and very good value breakfast. Incredible shower! For this price we found it well above average, really homely and relaxed atmosphere, clean and unpretentious.
Nice hotel just outside Zamora. About 7 min drive into Zamora. Road is a bit bumpy.
Nice host. Restaurant has good menu del Dias. Room good. Wifi good. Parking out front of hotel and also covered areas. Good size room. Villaralbo quiet but Zamora worth the trip and good value staying outside town.
A nice wee Hotel in a small village. The lady that was running the hotel was very nice and went out her way to assist despite the fact that their was a language barrier. The meal in the evening was very nice. Parking is right outside the hotel on the main road but it is plentiful.
Nice stuff, very familiar hotel. And you can bring your dog and walk a very nice route along the river. Very attentive and really kind. Super good local wine for reasonable price in the cafeteria, also breakfast was good.
Great value for money and perfect for an overnight stay.
The hotel has a restaurant, so we didn't go into the village.
Food portions are huge and very well priced, as were the drinks.
