Location was excellent as we were walking the Camino ,trail goes past the building. Bed was comfortable. Not far from the centre of town. Nice views.

I arrived to a friendly welcome from Itxaso, who was very helpful.
The apartment was spotlessly clean and felt bigger than it looked in the photos. It had a comfy bed, a lovely bathroom and a small but fairly well-equipped little kitchen section.
The apartment was very well located, close to both the Old Town and the seafront. Since my room was right on the street, I was a little worried about noise, but it was actually very peaceful.
Offering a garden and city view, Agroturismo Argoin Txiki is situated in Zarautz, 20 km from Monte Igueldo Funicular and 20 km from La Concha Promenade.

The property is on a hill in a rural area just a short 5 min drive to the town and esplanade with cafes. The room was very clean and very large with a large comfortable double bed with a lovely view of the town and sea. The parking was plentiful even for our large van. Naroa was so welcoming, spoke excellent English and gave us lots of local information and the breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea was a lovely end to our stay. Thanks Naroa we’ll be back!

I loved sitting and enjoying the view on the seafront, and also walking on the lovely long promenade that stretches all the way to the next town along the coast!
Zarautz is a lovely, quiet place and we had a really good time there. We are vegetarians and finding veg food is a big challenge in this part of Spain where every bar and restaurant has pintxos - all with meat or fish in them except the potato omelette!! By this time we had overdosed on the potato omelette and it was such a relief to come across Taberna Euskalduna where the enthusiastic staff gave us a delicious veg dinner at 7pm (most restaurants only open their kitchens at 8pm which is later than the dinner time we are used to!)

Zarautz is gorgeous with the promenade parallel to the beach. The beach is filled with activities and was our favourite place to spend the daytime. We enjoyed a beautiful hike to the picture spot 'Mollarriko begiralekua' and another to Getaria. Zarautz is a lovely town with plenty of places to eat and go for drinks in the evenings. Our favourites were a grill bar called Aka'ula (lots of GF options) and Hotel Alameda. Beautiful San Sebastian is just half an hour bus journey away, however, I would plan the buses in advance as arriving at the bus stop can mean waiting there for over an hour for the right bus to not turn up.

Thé hotel was excellent value for money.
Thé hotel was excellent value for money. Everything was clean and of a good quality. Staff were helpful and welcoming. It is close enough to walk to the old time where there are some excellent bars and restaurants.
Two points to improve the hotel . The windows do not have any safety features and could be dangerous especially for small children. We did point this out to the reception but the response was indifferent. The arrangements for breakfast need to be clarified so that you understand if you are having a continental or full breakfast.

Very pleasant seaside resort, easy to navigate and most places are within walking distance from the centre, very good public transport links too should you want to go further into the surrounding area.beach spotless, well run and safe. Long stretch of sand, plenty of room for both lounging or watersports. Good selection of restaurants, cafes, surf shops, beach supply kiosks and bars. All quite tasteful. Away from the beach there are so many interesting and historical buildings, winding narrow streets, parks, well worth a stroll as each corner turned throws up something unexpected. A good place to unwind.

Very good place to relax with fun :) Food in town is not extraordinary but very descent (a bit expensive for what it is :) ) a good search and try is needed to find memorable food. Other way lots of fun with the beach and ocean. Very good place to start learning surf cause the wave are not too big and it is on sand.
Overall I recommande the place especially with kids .
Be aware that the golf course is for licenced player only.
Edfication with 6 hotel rooms and 5 rooms with kitchenets for longer stays.
Ample convenient external parking in the facility.
The emerald hills that provide bestiful virws of the coastal towns of very proximal toens of Zarautz, Getaria, Orio.
Vary quiet, pastoral ambient and nights.
Cozy, personal attention.l from manager and dining room personnel.
Anple clean rooms and bathrooms with very comfortable beds.
Good homemade food for all meals.
Great value for all hosting and location benefis provided.
Lovely hotel, in an excellent location in the west end of Zarautz. The staff were super kind, professional and helpful. The breakfast is great, with quality ingredients and a variety of options from eggs to yogurt, and bread. Parking was right at the hotel. Views from the hotel were amazing, as we overlooked the ocean. A plus was that we could use a variety of surfboards at no extra costs, and they were good quality! Would love to come back and highly recommend!
Excellent location and very friendly staff! Hotel is located in a plaza, fortunately I had an interior room as there was a big festival going on. I am walking the Camino and this served as a great place to stay. No frills but all I needed was a shower and a bed. A big plus is they have AC. Not far from the beach but I had no use of that. The bed was comfortable. Grocery store not far. It is a great value! I would recommend!
The hostel was very cozy, well situated and perfectly clean. We had such a good time and wish we could have stayed longer! The rooms were spacious and very modern, and the shared kitchen was well equipped. + the owner was very helpful giving us all sorts of tips regarding our stay in Zarautz. Overall our trip exeeded our expectations by far and I could not recommended enough a visit to Zarautz and Zarautz Hostel.
If you want a beach holiday, the hotel is well situated, two blocks from the beach. It was very hot, and we slept with the balcony door open, without disturbing noise. The staff were uniformly helpful. The restaurant on the ground floor served a reasonable lunch. We paid for a space in the underground car park, which was useful, but getting in and out was fiendishly difficult!
The location is good, albeit the hotel is right at the busiest road: there is a lot of noise from the cats and from people on the streets at night.
The only advantage compared to a hostel I could find is the private bathroom. The rest is honestly very poor quality and not worth the money.
Probably the cleanest and best equipped appartement you’ll find in Zarautz. Also, the most stunning view and the kindest host. No question is too much and any info needed on the beautiful area Zarautz lies in, is provided by Koldo. He’s the kind of host that goes the extra mile.
I was there to surf and It is a minute away from the beach. The staff and the owner are all very friendly and helpful. It is also close to the old town where you find most of the shops and restaurants. Will definitely stay here again. Looking forward to coming back next year.
We got a very warm welcome by the lady at the checkin counter.
Nice and clean hotel in the city center.
Good beds and a good shower. The bar downstairs serves delicious food and wine and a great breakfast.
Very friendly staff in the hotel and in the bar/restaurant.
It is a small and cozy hotel with a few rooms opposite the hotel on the square. Nice size room and with a small balcony. The doors are very good in dampening the noise from the lively square. The shower was nice and hot with constant temperature.
Fabulous hotel , exceptional room with beautiful view of the sea, stunning dinner in the garden of hotel, HUGE bath , modern designer furniture, the comfiest bed ever - will definitely return. You have to book this hotel !!
Loved the family run Boutique who went out of their way to make me comfortable after a long day on the Camino. Loved the skylight to enjoy “under the Clouds” as the name means in Basque for the hotel! Bathroom so amazing!
Very clean, comfortable, well equiped large apartment. Reception lady very helpful and friendly. The town of Zarautz is lovely, very good for beach and walking. Secure underground parking if required.
Best hostal in Zarautz! Comfortable and real good value for the price. We stayed for a weekend for some surfing and the owner gave us excellent recommendations on where to go. Will definitely repeat!!
everything really. A prime location. bunk beds were super comfortable and big. solid facilities for surfing and what goes around it. the cherry on top, the let you get skateboard for free.
