I absolutely love Phi Phi island and have been back multiple times. I highly recommend staying on the island to enjoy the island experience. It's great being able to get there, settle in and be able to walk every where. Everyone is incredibly friendly and there is a bit of everything. Lots of great restaurants and bars to enjoy. Great night life scene, and also plenty of relaxation to be had. I recommend a tour of the islands on the long tail boats, the boat parties can be fun, but they can be hit or miss.

Koh Phi Phi is a bustling little island packed with all sorts of holiday makers from the backpacking community through to high end hotel guests. There are characterful little lanes filled with food vendors, restaurants and other shops and stalls and in the evening the bars and evening activities kick into action and carry on until the small hours. There are beautiful beaches and also endless possibilities of boat travel round the island and other close bye sights. Very busy, very lively and very beautiful.

Phi Phi Island is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. Island hopping on a long tail boat and snorkeling at Maya Bay was an amazing experience. I would visit Phi Phi Island again if I could.

Absolute paradise. Lives up to the hype.
Absolute paradise. Lives up to the hype. The water is turquoise and crystal clear. Get out on a day boat trip, see bamboo island and you’ll never want to leave. And while you’re here, eat at the “Thai Duck Restaurant”. I went back and ate there 4 times while on the island. Get the duck soup!

Really beautiful island with some amazing viewpoints.
Really beautiful island with some amazing viewpoints. Great for people who want to party as there is lots of lively bars. If you are looking to relax I wouldn’t recommend as most of the activities include alcohol.
The island overall is very walkable and there is some great food spots.

Very good location. Everyting you need is around. Easy check-in and check-out. Be prepared for a deposit 1000 THB per room but we expected that. There is a guy who helps you to transport your baggage from the pier to the hotel. They have a separate room if you need to store you baggage while leaving the island late afternoon. Room was clean and equiped with all the things you need. Good Internet connection. It is quiet in the room even though Phi Phi center is a busy area from dusk till dawn. I would select same hotel once again.
This hostel is an excellent choice for couples seeking refuge from the bustling nightlife of the island while still being conveniently located near everything.
The hostel is exceptionally clean, with receptionists who are incredibly attentive, fostering an atmosphere of tranquility. I highly recommend it for couples or solo female travelers.
There's nothing more to say, 10/10, and I highly recommend it!
I've shared more about the hotel on my Instagram @iagotravels.
We had a beautiful stay in the Blu Monkey Hotel. An excellent receptionist and a fantastic location to explore the Phi Phi islands. Superb value for money and clean facilities. You won’t go wrong with a stay there. The location allows for easy access to the famed viewpoints and the beach where you’ll find the famed nightlife. There is an active construction site however it didn’t affect our stay. For you shopping convenience a 7/11 is a minutes walk away.
The resort is beautiful with a lovely of the island beachfront. The hotel staff go over and beyond for you. I think it is good value for what you get but it is expensive for Thailand. The restaurant was brilliant, we ate in the restaurant on our last night. The breakfast is equally good, very fresh and good variety. The location is good, walking distances from everything and it’s away from the rustle and bustle of the centre so feels private.
This was my best stay in Thailand. Junie who is the face of this hotel was over the top in making us feel welcome, giving us a map on Phi Phi, tleeing us recommendations and always checking in to see if everything was ok. She treats her job like she owns the place and takes pride in here job. I also want to do a shout out to the wonderful cleaners for high standards of cleaning the room. Well Done!🙌
location was central and very quite.
We were pleasantly surprised about this property. We heard comments about the smell in all hotels over the island however we had nothing like this. The hotel was spotless, recently renovated and had no bad smells coming from the bathroom at all. I would definitely recommend staying here, the location is fantastic, minutes walk from the harbour and restaurants but also very quiet at night.
Hotel is right on the beach and has cosy terrace there to sit in the evening with bean bags. You can wash your feet outside at the entrance to building. Breakfast was great with wide selection of fresh food. Location is somewhat on the edge, but for us it was a positive because it was away from all the night parties. And everything is within walking distance on the island anyways.
The rooms and property had excellent views. The room had a decent size and was fairly comfortable and clean. The property is also located besides Long Beach that is beautiful to swim, snorkel and relax! We rated this property as 8 due to its potential, however we believe that with some investment and renovation to this hotel, it could easily become one of the best on the island.
the bungalow was private and close to the beach, the restaurant and bar were stellar, the front desk and support staff fantastic, efficient and super friendly. short boat trips to other islands. from the moment we stepped off the boat we didn’t have to worry about our luggage. the employee from the hotel handled it all the way to the room.
The hotel is great, but the location is problematic.
If you plan to stay only at the hotel you’ll have an amazing time, but to get anywhere else on the island you have to take a longtail boat that costs at least 300/400 baht per person and takes half an hour, which makes getting around very difficult.
The staff were amazing and so helpful! There was 8 of us and we were able to have a private tour of islands including Maya Bay, Monkey beach etc(extra charge) but this was great value for money. Staff carried our bags into our hotel rooms and they were really attentive and helpful❤️
The location was great because the other part of the island was loud with parties but here we had peaceful nights. The swimming pool is great and surrounded by nature once leaving the villa. The hotel offers free sun beds for customers on a small beach which is in the hotel.
I loved everything about staying in phi phi island it was the best part of my trip but I wish the greeting staff was there waiting for me at the dock with a hotel sign like everyone else’s hotel was 😂
The beach is nice. There are some restaurants by the beach outside the hotel.
Sunset view is good, but be mindful that it is on the opposide side of the island (on a cliff, far from the beach).
Great hotel in a good location. Is to walk to the main part of Phi Phi island for the nightlife and resteraunts with only a short distance walk. Friendly staff amd a really nice pool
