I loved this property. It’s a little way out of Padron but is in a lovely peaceful location. The room was very comfortable and we had our own terrace to sit out and enjoy the evening sunshine. Kitchen well stocked and a washing machine and dryer which is always a big bonus for walkers of the Camino. The host was a delightful person and left coffee and cakes for our breakfast .

The family welcome was just lovely - cheese and wine in the Barn whilst they boxed up the new wine from last season's harvest. (They drink wine from bowls in Galicia) Conversation a mix of Espanhol, Ingles, Portuguese and google 'translate'-(with its own style). The house is delightful, well designed, comfortable, and with every facility for a short stay (me on the Caminho - just a few metres distance) or longer vacation. Grocery supplies close. A very happy brief stay over. Oh! I forgot, the fruit for breakfast - organic from their own orchard. Thank you.

Exceptional in every way ! A super warm welcome awaited us and the service got better and better each day we stayed with this lovely family. It was superbly clean and organised to every corner of the property - Manuel and Dolores are perfectionists and nothing was too much trouble.They even laid us a fire in the ancient farmhouse fireplace on a cold night! Attention to detail in the furniture and decoration is fabulous and they even put fresh flowers in the bedroom and bathroom for us. The beautiful gardens are well-tended with a profusion of flowers and fruit trees. Breakfast was a feast and set us up for the day - beautifully presented and full waiter service from Manuel himself. Ask in advance for this as it is not included in the rental cost but is exceptional in quality and price - we paid 5 euros per head for this ! Manual is very keen to help with planning your daily outing and supplies maps and directions in great detail - you will not need a guide with him around. The house is easy to find ( well signposted in the village) and parking is under cover right next to the front door. Happy too with the road to Santiago de Compostella - it is excellent and takes around 20 minutes to the centre of the city. I will certainly be returning to this wonderful house as it is truly perfect - I can't fault it in any way. Thank for making our week in Galicia so special.

It's a lovely place, was nice to see how these old, little houses look inside. Anyway inside everything, the furniture is new and clean, definitely recommend.

A fabulous Guest House with a large pool, not far from the Camino. Evening meal was good value for money ( you need to order and select your choice by 6pm) our room had a lovely balcony over looking the gardens. The staff were friendly ( try a few words of Spanish) We had a car as we were touring Galicia as well as using public transport to access the start and finishes of the Camino. The property has a garage semi underground that was safe.

Our stay at Casa da Torre was absolutely fantastic! The location is ideal to reach all points of interest quickly by rental car (Santiago de Compostela, Rias Baixas, etc), the staff is very friendly. They are always up for a chat and gave us great recommendations of where to eat and excursions to do, which was more than helpful. The accommodation itself is a charmingly renovated cottage house, with all brand new instalations in the bedrooms, decorared modernly and very comfortable. And the breakfast…a dream! All home made and grown in their own garden. We saw them late in the evening baking apple cake from their own apples in the garden which we tried for breakfast the next morning, an absolute delight!
