Niché dans le village médiéval de Santillana del Mar, cet hôtel au grand charme rustique offre une vue pittoresque sur le jardin et la campagne environnante. Location, was not in the center of the noice. Very quiet and yet super close to the center.

It would have been difficult to have been treated better and almost impossible to find a more relaxing location with breathtaking views. The hosts were perfect; available on the phone at any time and quick to respond to any messages. The accommodation was ideal for our needs and indeed we have taken away a good few ideas for a property we are renovating (thank you Meli). We stayed for four nights and wish it had been longer; the area is one of truly astounding natural beauty and is the perfect location to unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet. The village itself is very pretty and the locals equally welcoming and happy to chat. One can walk from the property to local restaurants which provide wholesome economical food and a warm welcome. We have lived in a very beautiful part of the Mediterranean Coast of Spain for over 20 years in one of the most scenic valleys imaginable, or at least we thought so until we came to sample the delights of this gorgeous village in the Cantabrian mountains with fields of freely roaming livestock all around and the backdrop of awe inspiring mountains with free flowing rivers and streams with pretty cascading falls all within pretty easy walking distance, albeit up and down hill. Parking was super simple in a private spot right beside the property, but not such that your car blocks the view. We visited the coast whilst we were there which is around 40 minutes by car through sensibly wide mountain roads (windy, but easy to drive) and also took a trip to Bilbao to see the Guggenheim (just over an hour), but it was lovely to pop to the local "supermarket" (corner shop) and buy some bits to enjoy a picnic.

L'hébergement LA CABAÑA est situé à Cillorigo de Liebana, à 31 km de Llanes. Vous pourrez profiter d'un jardin privé avec barbecue. La connexion Wi-Fi est gratuite. Très bonne communication à l'arrivée comme au départ...logement très propre. Très bonne réactivité. Tout s'est bien passé.

Bon petit déjeuner; confort de la chambre; vaste jardin avec ambiances différentes; gentillesse des hôtes; proximité de Santander et de parcs régionaux.

Situé à Ramales de la Victoria, le Finca Artienza offre une vue sur la montagne et met gratuitement à votre disposition une connexion Wi-Fi ainsi qu'un parking privé. Tout a été parfait . Logements magnifiques décorés avec beaucoup de goût, rien ne manque. Joachim est très accueillant, très à l'écoute et disponible. L'emplacement est parfait aussi le cadre très agréable.

La maison de campagne Posada El Hidalgo est située à Valdecilla, juste devant la réserve naturelle de Cabárceno. Elle possède une charmante terrasse couverte donnant sur le jardin et la campagne. Très beau gîte, tout est propre et agrèable. La Posada El Hidalgo offre un cadre magnifique et reposant a deux pas de Santander et est idéal pour connaître la région. Inma est formidable et est aux petits soins avec ses hôtes.

This was our first stop off on a road trip through Spain and Portugal and what a great choice it proved to be. We received the warmest of welcomes, the room was lovely; clean and comfortable and the setting was simply beautiful. After a long drive, we enjoyed a pre-dinner walk along the little lanes that run up into the hills. Our charming host prepared a very nice homely dinner which we ate on the terrace. Both the room, and the meal, which included wine, were outstanding value for money. Given the price, it would be hard not to give this a ten out of ten.
