This former palace dating back to 14th-15th century is located in historic Hondarribia, enjoying views over the river Bidasoa and to France. Guests can enjoy an on site gastrolounge.

Great location in old town, busy, buzzy courtyard / meeting-place frequented by locals and guests. Good breakfast. Access to Reception and bedroom up a slope and steep steps would have ben difficult for my disabled wife but staff offered access through the locked front door.
Hotel Palacete is located in a pretty square in the historic centre of Hondarribia. Designed in a contemporary style, it features free parking and free WiFi in all areas.

Staff, location, large room, good breakfast - fabbo!
There is a car park very near which you have to pay for 10 - 8pm. Lots of bars / restaurants nearby.
An elegant and modern hotel, this establishment is situated in an exclusive setting in the residential area of Hondarribia with views of Jaizkibel Mountain. It is 10 minutes' walk to the town centre.

Loved the decor!!
It’s such a beautiful hotel and the room was extremely clean. Ther service was also exceptionally good.
The reception room was my favourite space, beautiful yet so comfy and inviting with fire on that I spent few minutes to wind down and warm up even in April every evening when we con back.
The breakfast had all I’d want.
The spa was a bonus.
Everything was perfect for our stay and I would love to go back. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Great staff and location. Right on the door step of a main square.
Parador de Hondarribia is set in an impressive 10th-century castle overlooking the Bidasoa Estuary. It has a charming courtyard terrace and another terrace with fantastic views.
This attractive guest house is located 10 minutes’ walk from the beach. Set in pretty gardens, it offers an outdoor pool, a terrace and scenic sea and countryside views.
Old Town was brilliant.
Great base to visit San Sebastián & a short boat ride across the harbour to Hendaye (France), which we knew nothing about but where the beach & the promenade were a real (pleasant!) surprise.

A wonderful town with a lot of character and great views of the river/bay. I would love to go back. The restaurant area is nice, as is the walking area by the water. Find free parking near the large grocery store and walk in. Hard to find parking

There were things I wanted to do and see but the weather wasn’t great. I think it’s over hyped and over priced in relation to the food. San Sebastián was much better and had more choice and was much better value. The area is of course beautiful and the old town was worth seeing but it does have its limitations.

Lovely place to use as base for day trips to Biaritz an San Sebastiaan. It also has a wide sandy beach, lovely promenade and wide leafy pedestrian walkways. The old town and the colourful old buildings are very interesting.

Very nice little town right at the border with France, giving you the opportunity to visit places at the both sides of the Basque country. It has very nice sandy beach at the end of the quite a long walkway where people walk, ride bikes, rollers, skates. You can enjoy sitting at the nice cafeterias around the city, but the main experience is actually the medieval, fortified city center located few minutes walk from the sea. Narrow streets, beautiful stone buildings, nice restaurants, small town squares. Definitely a city worth of visiting!

1)Hondarribia is a place I liked very much, lots to see and do and a beautiful harbour for swimming.
2) Take a little ferry to France, have lunch and have a drink at one of the many bars / restaurants.
3) You MUST go to the La Hermandad de Pescadores, what a wonderful experience, delicious food, nice wine and very pleasant staff .
4) I thought the Pintxos were very boring compared to what's on offer in San Sebastian
The hotel is in the centre of the old walled town.
Parking is available free about 5 minutes walk away.
There is a small cafe bar on site, but closes by 2300.
The hotel is attractive & situated in a beautiful square.
The main attraction for us was the newer part of town about 10 minutes walk away, with many bars & restaurants.
The river which separates France & Spain is just beyond.
Comfortable bed.
Helpful staff, English speaking.
We had the room in front (1st floor (2nd floor in USA) and you see the white framed windows when you approach which we loved as the hotel is quaint and picturesque. Mia (?) was our host and wonderful. There is an outdoor bar and limited but excellent restaurant that locals use in addition to travelers and guests. Very clean and walkable to the entire town which has many excellent restaurants.
Charming and cozy apartment, one of the colorful buildings found in the marina district, which made our stay extra special. Two bedroom, two baths and shutter windows that opened unto a little balcony. Easy access to many restaurants, the old town, the beach, marina and transportation. Communication with host timely and informative. Would definitely stay here again!
Amazing location and super friendly staff! They were so helpful with reccomendations etc. We were really lucky to get one of the hotel's two parking spots, which are free and really close by. The room was nicely decorated and clean. The bathroom was especially lovely and clean!
It is a beautiful old Bishop's palace in a super location overlooking the estuary with a small square at the front. Hondarribia old quarter where it is situated is a stunning place.
The hotel is small and has an intimate feel about it.
The staff are very helpful and friendly.
This must be our best stay ever:
Beautiful accommodations with a gorgeous view of the mountains, incredible breakfasts and most helpful and cordial owner! 30 minutes to San Sebastián and 40 min to Biarritz by car.
Thank you so much!
Centrally located, right in the middle of a bustling town, but with access to (paid for) underground parking - well worth booking.
Great welcome by the staff, who were keen to ensure that all questions were answered.
Really spacious apartment with amazing views over the harbour and the coastline. Located 5 minutes walk from both the beach and the town centre. Private underground parking.
The view was exceptional. You cannot call the breakfast VERY good. It is a GOOD breakfast. We liked the hotel very much and would stay there again on my next visit.
The apartment was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The parking was excellent and the location was very good so easy to walk to the beach and to restaurants.
