Very speedy and friendly reception. Helpful. Very good parking outside and in the garage. Close to highway and gas stations. Rooms towards the backyard very quiet.

We were very happy with this hotel. The room was big and the bathroom clean and new. The location was a bit weird but I think that is what La Jonquera is like. We would stay here again.

Cleanliness, large and comfortable garage with direct entrance into the apartment, wonderful renovation, completeness of objects and appliances, pay TV with internet, comfortable beds, large and comfortable shower, welcome water and bottle of wine (also appreciated by my 91 year old grandmother) and swimming pool and barbecue in the outdoor courtyard.
Also convenient for elderly or disabled people because there are no steps or impediments (apart from a single step to access the courtyard).
Located on the ground floor.
Possibility of parking on the street on the white lines. Nearby there are large supermarkets, shopping centers, shops and fuel stations at affordable prices.
Set in the beautiful natural surroundings of the Empordà region, this hotel offers charming rooms equipped with free Wi-Fi, free parking, and fantastic mountain and quad bike excursions.

This was our 6th visit of this year, we always stay here when transiting through France to Spain and vice Versa, a very convenient location right on the motorway, with friendly staff and comfortable rooms just the place for a night stop over, and dog friendly too.

A great hotel to stop over on your travels to or from Spain.
A great hotel to stop over on your travels to or from Spain. The staff were so friendly and the cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. This was our first time staying here but it won’t be our last, we will definitely be back on our next return journey to Spain.

I was only two nights on two separate occasion. In the pandemic time you can't really enjoy this place. Most places were closed. I can only imagine how nice would be there in a different time. La joungera is the border with France and Spain. It is perfect stop before next level of travel.

easy to find hotel but signage hidden under big Bingo advert, generally good for 1 night travelling through, place needs a refurb not that clean but ok.
fairly good access to rooms for people with poor mobility, as lift in vestibule available from either ground floor entrance back or front.
La Jonquera is a place we had to stay in (we were passing through walking the GR11) rather than one we chose to stay in. The hotel overlooks the motorway and railway line and is one of a row of characterless buildings. But it was clean and perfectly pleasant. It is adjacent (in the same building) to both a big restaurant and a huge supermarket.
Fantastic hotel right on the border. Super dog friendly. Amazing food and great prices. Lovely room. Surprisingly very quiet. Staff across the board friendly and professional. Really happy with this hotel. They charge very reasonable prices for the dogs. Whats not to like. We found the positive reviews accurate. Well done.
The hotel is a truck stop, not a resort location. However, the room and reception are clean, new, and surprisingly quiet despite a lot of trucks in the area. There is secure parking on-site, very important for traveling with luggage in the car. For a one-night transit stop the location is perfect and a good value.
We travelled via La Jonquera before, but hotel we had before had a lot more noise, This hotel/room was much better without all the noise.
The restaurant downstairs (GBL the bistro - we did not want buffet) was very good. Good value for money and friendly staff.
Convenient location close to the French border. Friendly staff. Hotel has got a big parking area. Facilities more than enough for a one-night stay.
Guests should beware that the hotel is next to an outlet, not in a real Spanish village.
Nice and clean hotel. The rooms are big, modern and comfortable. The staff is also very friendly and nice, helping us with recommendations of places to go in the are. They also have a great private parking garage.
Perfect for one night stay: quiet and clean room, excellent shower, comfortable big bed, parking in front with plenty of space. Good restoran in and shop next to hotel. The area is not nice for the longer stay.
Everything as expected except that I couldn't have dinner as the restaurant was closed due to Corona (odd, as the restaurant was open at a hotel nearby). Breakfast was very basic.
