Hotel di Deusto, Bilbao

This charming, Basque farmhouse has been carefully converted into an attractive, rural hotel, enjoying stunning panoramic views over the regional capital of Bilbao. Magnificent view to the city from this mountain hotel. Safe parking, easy access from motorways, a bus line to the city centre or a 3km walk downhill to reach the city. Hotel was very beautiful and superbly clean. Rooms and beds were comfortable, shower water was hot and its pressure good, also the hotel had plenty of books and leaflets on local attractions, sights and trip suggestions. Very nice, super efficient and helpful staff made us feel very welcome right from the beginning.

NH Bilbao Deusto is just 500 metres from Bilbao’s Guggenheim Museum, Iberdrola Tower and Euskalduna Palace. There is a free Wi-Fi and the modern, air-conditioned rooms have satellite TV. Breakfast was brilliant. My room was very quiet

Set in Zorrozaurre island in the Bilbao Ria and overlooking the River Nervión, 2 km from Guggenheim Museum and next to Frank Gehry bridge. - romantic view on the river out of the window, located on an island - university quarter with grocery shops, cafes and churches - bar/cafe next to the hotel with a nice bartender (selling also local beer) - bathroom was gorgeous and very clean - staff was extremely nice to us, very likeable and considerate, explained to us how to get around the city and all - buffet with a drink automat machine and cakes available down in the hall
