Wonderful hospitality, attention to details, incredible decor, and the view was breathtaking. Fabio was a fantastic host, making sure all guests were comfortable and guiding our adventures beyond Il burrillino. Our room was like a page from history, with tasteful artistic accents blending perfectly with the beamed ceiling, ancient tile floors and shuttered windows. The bathroom was modern and yet blended perfectly with the original building. Everything was first class and the setting was tranquil and luxurious. Highly recommend.

The property is beautiful and nicely decorated. It has the charming of a Tuscan village and amazing views. The infinity pool facing Montalcino fortress is a plus! If you are lucky enough you can even spot some deers in front of the forest near the hotel. It is located in a quiet area just a few minutes driving from Montalcino city centre. Breakfast options are nice and diverse. Staff is friendly, gentle and makes you feel very welcome. Paula was always with a smile on her face bringing us breakfast delights. And, to complement, Casanova di Neri was one of the precursors of the Brunello di Montalcino and produces one the most elegant Brunellos. They offer tastings to the hotel guests!

I did not have a vehicle and she went above and beyond to help me get to and from the property and giving me information on the area. She is a skilled baker and their own olive oil is ridiculously delicious! I cannot say enough about this property and host. Book immediately!!

Leiligheten var romslig og praktisk - og sengen var den beste vi lå i på hele vår 17 dager lange rundreise! Frokosten smakte godt i rustikke omgivelser. Vi meldte oss på vinsmaking og omvisning i vinkjelleren. Som de eneste deltakerne fikk vi en trivelig og lærerik stund med vinbonden. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake og blir lenger enn to netter.

Everything was perfect. The owner Patricia and the manager Dagmar are very kind. Our experiance was unique and full of adventures, from the first till the last day. We did not want to leave. They have 2 kittens, which we alost adopt 🙈. We play with them all the time. The view from the pool was absolutely adorable. Breakfast was delicious ( a lot of sweet pastry). We highly recomended this place! - if you need a break from outside world, this is perfect. Ps. It is also rained - after 4 months.
