Make sure you visit the small church and the castle is well worth the visit. We also recommend having dinner at Taberna Ateneo, Pl. de la Constitución. Accomodation was expensive in Cordoba city so we were advised to stay in Almodóvar del Río and we spent the afternoon visiting Cordoba.KenNZLYoung couple

Villa is in a spectacular location overlooking the lake with a view to the castle. The walk down to the lake is very nice and you can fish.
