A wonderful breakfast, the people were fantastic, limited English spoken in the town, though this was a plus as everyone tried very hard to accommodate, we laughed on both side at the interpretations, and everything turned out fantastic. A very small town but a must visit. We will remember the stay forever.

Nice clean comfortable hostal in a really perfect location. It’s near the best streets in Santo Domingo with fruit & cheese shops, bakery, clothing, hiking supply shops and bar/cafes just around the corner making it very enjoyable stay. Room is much better and functional than it looks in the photos (looks a bit light weight).

The room was beautiful just as advertised in an old refurbished and comfortable building. It was conveniently located next to the old town and Camino but also close to all amenities. The staff were amazing!! We needed to stay an extra night to have a rest day and they were so accommodating.

We've never stayed anywhere quite like it before. Our room was beautifully furnished and very spacious, with private access via the lift or spiral staircase. Delicious breakfast in the morning too. Easy parking either directly outside or at the nearby bar. Village bar is really lively and welcoming with a good selection of food and drinks. Local scenery is stunning and Santo Domingo de la Calzada is only 20 mins away. Really fabulous !

Lovely attention to details and beautifully and thoughtful decorated in a Medieval style. Very nice touch to have medieval music at breakfast (and even in the room in you want). Breakfast is included which is another nice touch. Everything was spotlessly clean and the facilities were very good. Angela was a great host and certainly went the extra mile for us. Would certainly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. We will definitely go back next time we visit Rioja.
