Unbelievably authentic old house in a pocket-size remote village easily accessible by car. Very nice host. All necessary amenities are there, including decent Wi-Fi. Close enough to most area attractions, yet feels totally isolated from the outer world (in a good sense).

Set in a village and with an excellent restaurant attached (but run separately) by the chef and his wife. This couple were also looking after the hotel and are very pleasant and warm. The Restaurant is excellent and having, with the advice of the proprietress, ordered one starter and one main to share, extremely good value. We particularly enjoyed the salads and the T bone steak.
